I have only been vicariously watching this cassieiswatching business. Never heard of an ARG, and of course now I'm completely absorbed and very worried about the condition of this Cu Roi person, hoping he didn't fall and sprain his ankle or something out there.
Keep us updated.

They were predicting a 10 hour trip this morning, so he's not too far overdue yet. He's out of cell range out there, too.

The light of day is just now leaving the central time zone here near Kansas City. I can't see that he has more than hour of light.

Yup, its already black here (MN). I hope they brought flashlights just in case. If he got delayed or took a bit to find the dropped item once he got there it could be dark by the time he gets out.

Maybe he found Cassie and Frank sitting by the riverbank with a keg and some pan-cooked trout...that would explain why he isn't back yet.
And go Nilla!

Now that would be cool. A nice happy ending. Haha.

If it does become dark, someone needs to call authorities. 911 can connect you to the forest service search and rescue. If he doesn't come out, it would be very irresponsible to use a forum "rapid response team", search and rescue is trained to handle these things, and if you were lost out there, you would want them looking for you no matter the cost. If he is hurt or lost, you aren't likely to find him. It's going to take trained teams. You should worry about being responsible for paying S&R. If you were told someone that they will be back and they don't show up, its not your responsibility to pay the team.

Nilla just called me: After talking to several officals, Cu finally wandered back to his car and he's alright, just tired. He didn't find anything, so he's kinda upset too, I believe. More later.
