That's mainly because people like me who think she's not attractive at all kept their mouths shut as to not be rude. Also, perhaps in episode one they didn't expect her to be so consistently bad throughout as she so far as been.

"So far"? she has only done 3 videos and you make it sound like she's done a hundred terrible videos. Only in the last one did she get serious. Some people are judging her only because of that video and that's wrong.

I have said this enough: wait till she posts more videos before you make your judgement

I think she's cute.

The story seems to need another character but I don't like Gemma. She seemed like a poser when I first saw her and I thought she was fake. Too me she seems trite and shallow. All she has to do is crytically say "community" and we are supposed to accept her as willingly as we did Bree? No buildup, no relationship building, just here I am we are two peas in a pod.

Well, Bree isn't even wholeheartedly accepting her. I thought Bree's "Hi Gemma" video had the tone of "ok, I guess I vaguely remember you, but whatever". I don't think Gemma's videos are for Bree, I think they're for us, to give us some info.

Yeah, there could have been more lead-up, like there was for Bree's videos. But ah well...

I think it's way too early for us to be deciding whether we like her or not, and whether or not she should go. She's only been included in two "canon" videos. Let's see what The Creators do with her.

She's a new charactor--and she'll never amount up to Bree. But if she does become Bree's friend, we need to accept her into the storyline.

I think some girls are jealous. Gemma is way hot which is intimidating sometimes for girls. I like her becuase I think we need her.

It doesn't matter...that's what I'm saying. But, I do sense a little caddy jealousy here and there.

i don't like gemma simply because i think that it is weird to have this person bree barely knew in London and has not been keeping touch with her and now BOOM she's an official character trying to make bree do stuff. i mean she doesnt really know bree! its just wrong! and yes i know we dont really know bree either but we arent trying to make her do stuff. at least i'm not.

The problem with Gemma is that she does not fit with this medium of storytelling. She does not look like a real person, nor does she act like one. She looks and acts like a magazine cover or a toothpaste commercial.

I'm glad to have more information, but I'd rather get it from someone else.

Treefunk hit the nail on the head for me. She doesn't seem like a real person to me (could be down to scripting? but I thought the actors had to have strong improv skills?). It's only 20% about Gemma's looks for me. Like Treefunk said, she looks like she should be in a toothpaste commercial- smiling and flicking her hair around too much. The rest is the way the actor delivers her speeches... they're speeches not streams of conscience like the other characters. Unless it's meant to be that way because the Order are making her do that. But if they were making her do that she'd be more robotic or... I dunno.

I don't like or dislike her at the moment, I'm just not happy with the way her character was introduced. We'll see, we'll see.

(I'm really trying to not give The Creators flack, it's just a small issue- I love everything else!)

Maybe Gemma will disappear like Cassie if we all vote her to go. lol.
