New Panda Theory -- bear with me.

Bear ... get it? I made a funny.

::crickets::

So, yeah. My bad. Anyways ...

The USA Today Poll question/super secret password:

"What do psychic Vampires feed off of?"

Correct response: Energy.

... Now, how was it that we all knew that again? Oh, right:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bwKImYI3O9k

.... Anyone find it odd that we all got this information from an OpAphid video? And yes, it does originally come from a Cassie video ... but the question remains:

WHY would a bureau "password" be a description in an OpAphid video?

My thoughts --

We've been speculating for some time now that Tachylon has had a hand in these OpAphid videos. The first one in particular looks very similar to her handiwork.

Perhaps Tachy had helped in the creation of more videos than just the first .... perhaps that was her entire "job" at The Order ... computer stuff. That would explain why she seemed so perplexed when The Order limited her computer access.

If this is the case, couldn't it be that Tachylon laced these videos with HER clues (clues that maybe we have been assuming came from OpAphid?)?

Maybe we should go back and look at the videos from this view point. Something interesting might appear.

Just a thought. I have them from time to time.

Yeah, I've been thinking along the same lines:

It seems pretty obvious to me that tachyon put clues in the Disclosure video.

Chess just commented about her call. Here's a transcript:

[16:01] <Chessboard> It's to do with the torture.
[16:02] <MaxZyrix> do tell
[16:02] <Chessboard> Well, 'Frank' who...
[16:02] <Chessboard> Yeah that name is bugging me, too.
[16:02] <Chessboard> Let's call him Billeh-Bob.
[16:02] <ASadPanda> Thank you.
[16:02] <Chessboard> Billeh-bob told me that his 'bureau' or organization or whatever you want to call it
[16:03] <ASadPanda> I like "The Dude"
[16:03] <ASadPanda> It's very Big Lebowski.
[16:03] <MaxZyrix> Teh Dude is better
[16:03] <Luv2LuvEm> shhh
[16:03] <Danielle6> CONTINUE ON TOPIC
[16:03] <Chessboard> Has reason - lol The Dude - to believe that the people to do with the Operation are being tortured.
[16:03] <MaxZyrix> anyway, i'm listening to Chess
[16:03] <Chessboard> AND brainwashed.
[16:03] <Danielle6> me/ whips everyone
[16:03] <Chessboard> He told me
[16:03] <Chessboard> That there are only 2 ways that they find previous members of the Order.
[16:04] <Chessboard> Which, by the way, he said was EXPANSIVE.
[16:04] <Chessboard> The Operation, too, is apparently huge.
[16:04] <ASadPanda> I'm sorry, clarify?
[16:04] <ASadPanda> What's expansive?
[16:04] <ASadPanda> Oh, k.
[16:04] <Chessboard> Huge.
[16:04] <ASadPanda> :)
[16:04] <Chessboard> lol
[16:04] <Chessboard> Anyway
[16:04] <Chessboard> He said they either come up dead.
[16:04] <Chessboard> Or they come up with their lives totally ruined.
[16:04] <Luv2LuvEm> fair game basically
[16:04] <MaxZyrix> you think tachyon is gonna die?
[16:05] <Chessboard> But the weird thing, he said, about the dead ones is they never have a mark on their body.
[16:05] <ASadPanda> ... lives totally ruined?
[16:05] <Chessboard> They have NO IDEA how they're being killed.
[16:05] <ASadPanda> Like, Jerry Springer ruined or ... can't function as a human being ruined?
[16:05] <MaxZyrix> @Chess: like natural death?
[16:05] <Danielle6> So you check the obituaries for mysterious deaths
[16:05] <_Caroline_> when were yuo told this chess? on your phone call>
[16:05] <Luv2LuvEm> poison?
[16:05] <Danielle6> or the morgue
[16:05] <Chessboard> Yeah, on my phone call.
[16:05] <Danielle6> So Jerry springer ruined either way
[16:05] <tiltingwindward> And how does this mesh with the evidence we have with Gemma?
[16:05] <ASadPanda> lol
[16:05] <Chessboard> I guess it is like natural death, Max.
[16:05] <Chessboard> Nothing unusual comes up with them.
[16:05] <Chessboard> Well, Gemma, to me, seems to be in the run. IMO.
[16:06] <Chessboard> Plus she mentioned that girl who 'disappeared.'
[16:06] <Chessboard> Her and her family.
[16:06] <Danielle6> But nothing is natural about say a 31 year old dying for no reason
[16:06] <Luv2LuvEm> oooh like avada kedavra!!
[16:06] <_Caroline_> but wasnt the phone call staged by the operation? why would they tell you that?
[16:06] <Luv2LuvEm> lol
[16:06] <Danielle6> no disease
[16:06] <tiltingwindward> She doesn't seem to be running...she's living in London, giving away her location to a member of the order....and she's still in contact with her family
[16:06] <Danielle6> leave it to luv to add some HP
[16:06] <Chessboard> But Op reminds us that Billeh-Bob could be lying to get us to betray her.
[16:06] <Luv2LuvEm> lol sorry I had to
[16:06] <Danielle6> She seems to be branching
[16:06] <Danielle6> not running
[16:06] <MaxZyrix> damn
[16:07] <Chessboard> But remember how Peter brought up the SP overseas?
[16:07] <MaxZyrix> *ominous voice* the plot thickens
[16:07] <Chessboard> And I asked Op if Gemma was the SP an Op said
[16:07] <Chessboard> "No comment."
[16:07] <Luv2LuvEm> oh yeah
[16:07] <Chessboard> Which is politician for "Yes."
[16:07] <ASadPanda> Whoa.
[16:07] <Noava22> sp?
[16:07] <Noava22> sad panda?
[16:07] <Chessboard> Suppressed Person
[16:07] <ASadPanda> Heh.
[16:07] <Noava22> oh
[16:07] <Chessboard> Fair Game.
[16:07] <ASadPanda> She is part of my army!
[16:07] <MaxZyrix> lol
[16:07] <ASadPanda> We're infinite!
[16:07] <Chessboard> lol
[16:07] <ASadPanda> Sorry. Topic, topic.
[16:07] <MaxZyrix> damn you, panda
[16:07] <Luv2LuvEm> I had totally forgotten about that
[16:07] <Chessboard> I hadn't :)
[16:08] <Chessboard> ANYWAY so apparently some creepy murder shit goes on, according to Billeh-Bob.
[16:08] <MaxZyrix> oh god
[16:08] <Chessboard> I asked if it could be suicide.
[16:08] <tiltingwindward> Chess, clarificatory question: Billeh-Bob is frankiswaking?
[16:08] <MaxZyrix> so he's worried about his sister/partenr
[16:08] <Luv2LuvEm> no he is dude on the phone
[16:08] <Chessboard> He said the way some of them come out so brainwashed and talk about the brainwashing, it's possible they were brainwashed into killing themselves.
[16:08] <tiltingwindward> Ah
[16:08] <tiltingwindward> Thanks
[16:08] <ASadPanda> ... Noa said something about there being 'no marks on the body' ... did you hear that too, Chess?
[16:09] <Chessboard> I just said that!
[16:09] <ASadPanda> Drat.
[16:09] <Chessboard> Were you listening?
[16:09] <ASadPanda> I suck.
[16:09] <Chessboard> lol
[16:09] <ASadPanda> I missed it, I'm sorry.
[16:09] <Chessboard> lol
[16:09] <ASadPanda> Trying to do quickbooks and this is complicated. :)
[16:09] <Luv2LuvEm> brainwashed into commiting suicide...interesting
[16:09] <SurrealsticPill> but if they killed themselves, then they'd be able to find a cause of death rather easily
[16:09] * MaxZyrix nods at SP
[16:09] <Chessboard> Not necessarily.
[16:09] <SurrealsticPill> there's only so many ways to kill yourself
[16:09] <Luv2LuvEm> not if they brainwashed them the right way to do it
[16:09] <Chessboard> ANYWAY creepy shit = going on.
[16:10] <Shifty_AFK> Supposedly. Unless he is giving you misinformation~
[16:10] <SurrealsticPill> inject an air bubble into an artery?
[16:10] <Chessboard> Now I have to change my bra because this one is REALLY uncomfortable.
[16:10] <MaxZyrix> @Chess: would you mind putting this up on the forums?

Interesting stuff.

Im really confused
I thought that the phone calls were staged by OpAphid, as OpAphid had the cellphone and all the questions etc asked were part of a test.

This might mean that some information from the phone calls wasnt true. There are some things however that do fit with the rest of the story
- Tachyon going missing
- 'The Bureau'

Perhaps I just have it all wrong, but I thought that the phonecalls were staged from OpAphid to test us....
(ie. OpAphid calling it a 'test')
rather than actually being from 'The Bureau'

Ok, I read that transcript of 'yournamehere' from the chat and I guess that is where the theory that the bureau was calling came from....

So:
-Tach lost the phone
-Op found it and her partners phone number
-Op tapped the partners phoneline and changed the voicemail
-We all leave voicemail messages
-The partner calls these
-The partner is from the bureau

The part that confuses me is that wasnt this meant to be a test? Like part of a 'testing period' or something like that? I thought the whole phone thing was totally staged by OpAphid..... At the same time we were never really meant to know about the phone calls..... (and the testing theory was a result of us all being desperate to be involved) So, actually I think this theory may be right.

Sorry for posting what was already there.... just needed to make it clearer for myself

It was a test because Aphid was listening in to the conversation to see what you said to the guy. Think of it like a test to see who she could trust.

Basically, if you gave the guy information about Aphid - you failed. If you let him talk and reveal things, and you didn't give any information about Aphid - you passed.

As one of the people who did not receive a call, I would appreciate it if more people came forward with more specifics regarding what was said in the calls.

I am especially interested if anyone, while speaking with "brother", gave him any information regarding what has been speculated about the messages in the videos (since "brother" has claimed to not have internet access) to ask if it meant anything (the separate messages of I and "i", the music etc). Also, did anyone tell "brother" about what was found at the drop - the list, the post card, the N/NE?

I guess what I'm really asking is if anyone else had chosen the side against Operation Aphid before the calls, and told "brother" information that might help him in locating Tachyon.

I hope someone did and will share.

Caroline, I was confused about that as well. Messaged Op and got this non-answer:

We've been monitorig the line. A more clear explanation will be posted later this afternoon...

I understand that a number of individuals were tested via phone calls from someone who appeared to be a member of an organization antagonistic to the Order, and that you, or another Order representative, placed a second call to confirm whether they had passed the test by not revealing information about the Order to him.

Was the first caller an Order member posing as a Bureau member in order to flush out information? Or were you simply constantly monitoring the phones of those who had left you their numbers?

I don't know if my call will be very illuminating, since it was short and I was unhelpful, but here's the transcript as I remember it:

[phone rings]
[guy tells me that he's doing a poll for USAT, and asks me the question, pretty much verbatim from other people's transcripts.]
Me: Energy?
Guy: That's a very popular answer. Many people have answered 'Energy.' Now, I have a follow-up question. Can you tell me where you learned that?
Me (torn between saying "a website" and "personal experience"): ...I was informed.
Guy: [long pause] And can you tell me who informed you?
Me: ...Not at this time?
Guy: How did you get this number?
Me: ...because I'm very clever?
Guy: Well, can I speak to my sister then?
Me: Your who?
Guy (probably afraid at this point that I'm senile or a wrong number): Where did you get this number?
Me: What number?
Guy: Why did you call this number?
Me: I didn't.
Guy: Well, I just got a call from this number, and when I called it back it took me to this number. This is a secure line that we gave to my sister, so where is she?
Me (catching up to what's going on): I cannot disclose that information at this time.
Guy: Well, can you tell me where she is?
Me: I cannot disclose that information at this time.
Guy: I need to talk to my partner! This is her phone! How did you get it? Where is she?
Me: I cannot disclose that information at this time.
Guy (wanting to strangle me by now): [long pause] ...This is a secure phone for my partner to use and, I'm holding you personally responsible if anything happens to her.
Me: I'll be sure to pass your complaint along to the appropriate authorities.
Guy: [vague spluttering noise--hangs up]

--

About a minute later, I got a call from another number, with OpA's automated voice message on it telling me that I had passed, that there was a spy in the organization, and asking me to keep the contents of the phone call secret. That's about it. What have we learned? That I'm a smartass.

P.S. If anyone from the bureau is reading this, I advise you to claim that you're from a more reputable news organization next time you call, since my desire to help you was heavily influenced by the fact that USA Today is a sad mockery of a news-gathering entity, and the very fact of their presence on this planet offends me.
Love, tilting

edit: I remembered a little more of my conversation this morning. It doesn't add any more information, but it's best to be accurate.

Also: OpAphid messaged me this:

The phone tests merely have to do with speculation, and not any sort of essential information. It is hard to explain, actually.

This also leads me to think that the calls were staged as part of a test..... anyway we will all find out soon enough :)

I think (actually Chess aswell, who may have a slightly different take, but the same kind of idea) that the phone calls from OpAphid were staged and were part of a test.

I think the call people recieved was staged by OpAphid, as part of the 'test'. OpAphid has said to several of us in PMs that there was a 'testing period'. It doesnt really make sense to say that the bureau's calls ended exactly when the testing period ended.
Additionally it doesnt really make sense to argue that an actual conversation with someone from the bureau would be followed by another phone call saying you had passed or failed.
I think the phonecalls were just a test from OpAphid.

If it was the bureau calling, with OpAphid listening
- how did the bureau call from Tachyons number? And how did they get access to the voicemail? (as OpAphid currently has the phone)
- why were conversations followed by a confirmation of a pass/fail

Sorry - I am kind of tired as writing this.... perhaps other people can elaborate it.
