eep. this is quite the dilemma for the creators

a lot of people will be pissed of at this news (as am i!!!) some may even stop watching. hmm.....they cannot try to replace him, that's even worse. but lonelygirl15 without her danielbeast? nuh-uh. not gonna work. it's just so...weird. it doesn't feel right. daniel is the peanut butter to bree's jelly. sure they can go seperately, but it just wouldn't taste the same, would it? tsk, tsk, tsk, creators...you were doing so well up until now. i'm very disapointed. *hangs head*

That would make the most sense. It's like how the Lost writers had explained it after the uproar of Boone's death. It's a myserious friggin' island, deaths are gonna happen. If they didn't, it'd be like having a movie about WWII and not one person dying. So that would be for the arguement that yes, this was something planned.

HOWEVER, if it was something planned, then Yousef should not have talked about it on his MySpace. Any shock over a death by fans is now gone(and death/dissapearance is the only logical way of Danielbeast leaving the series). They just ruined any sort of suspense in that area. And I dont know if The Creators would do something as heavy handed as that. There must have been (I know nothing about law in this instance) some sort of rule/law/contract that the actor cannot discuss stuff like that until after it happens.

Which kinda leaves me to think this is something abrupt, and not planned. Then again, maybe I'm just a conspiracy lovin' Mirage.

I agree Mirage. This feels sort of rash...like maybe he did this unilaterally. Why would they ever let him post something like this? It's so out of character.

In terms of plot - maybe the pills/shots Bree's been taking have made her go crazy. She kills Daniel?

B/c of his cmt about 'I'm not a good enough actor for a part I was cast in', I feel like it's an acting thing rather than a plot thing. If he hadn't said that I'd assume they were not using his character in the show for a while and/or were killing him off. I really hope they don't cast someone else in the same character, that would be retarded.

Knowing the Creators, this could very well be a scheme to throw those who watch the video and the Forum off. It is common knowledge how popular both Yousef and Jessica have become. This introduces another medium of advancing the plot, relaying information to the viewers through the actors.

But maybe I'm far off. Just thought I'd share.

That "not a good enough actor" thing sounds plain out bitter to me. And it would explain why he's revealing a big storyline (however it's done) like this.

is it possible he was saying that to make what really happens a bigger surprise?

As pissed as I am that Yousef was fired, I'd be twice as pissed if this was some kind of device to move along the plot.


I just don't know how the videos will be worth watching without Daniel.

Look, Yousef getting fired is a good thing yall, we know its gonna have a huge impact on the plot, so thats exciting. I hope Daniel does get killed, that'll make the story a whole lot more interesting. It'll be sad yes, but it'll spice things up a bit.

So here is my imagination at work.


Bree tells us she's on a quest to save her parents and seek revenge for the death of her best friend. But she can't go to the police because she has been framed by the Order so the police are after her. And then Cassie(not CiW of course) comes into the picture, I picture Cassie being dark, gothic like, and wielding a HUGE sword like the one Cloud had from FFVII, that would be kickass, so Cassie tells Bree that within her vains she has the blood of an ancient race of people that possessed extraordinary power that the Order wants to get a hold of so they can conquer the world and inslave humanity. Cassie goes on to tell Bree that Daniel was ordered to watch over her as her guardian, and also tells her that she shall take his place.


I know this is random, but anyway I'm SO excited, can't wait to see what happens to Daniel!

This is a completely idiotic decision. Yousef and Jessica have great chemistry.

OTOH, it is completely consistent with my theory that the ceremony will involve Bree sacrificing Daniel.

But even if I'm right, I'm not the least bit happy with it.
