aw, bree!
this also means that the creators didn't just make up stuff as they went along. they had this plan from way back when. they didn't just cop out of thelema because of the forums. they didn't just stick aleister crowley on the wall and see where we took things. everything might actually fall into place! YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!

I would normally dismiss this entire argument...but that scar on her back does look strikingly familiar. Why would she be a watcher and not even know it yet though? Maybe that symbol on the back means something different than it does if it's on the hand...or maybe the symbol is slightly different.

I enlarged that symbol as much as I could and I still could not say difinitively what it is.spaciegirl wrote:I would normally dismiss this entire argument...but that scar on her back does look strikingly familiar. It's ALL connected...
Spacie, I'm surprised you aren't pissed of that OpAphid is canon. At one point you said she sucked bad. Anyway, I'm glad you're not; I was afraid you would stop posting when I saw it.spaciegirl wrote:I would normally dismiss this entire argument...but that scar on her back does look strikingly familiar. along with the scar idea
if that happened as a young child couldn't her parents easily explain it to her as an accident?

probably. plus i doubt she's ever gotten a really good look at it, considering it's location. it's in that very particular spot you can never scratch. i wonder if daniel noticed it. maybe in the character chat i'll mention it to him.islandlove wrote:along with the scar idea

Maybe the scar is actually a mark denoting that she is to be watched- not a watcher. The watcher has the mark as a tattoo, on th ehand, but Bree's is burned on her back- where she may not ever really notice what it looks like. If she were chosen for a special purpose as a young childshe might have been given that mark when she wouldn't relaly remember it and may not realize it's significance.spaciegirl wrote:I would normally dismiss this entire argument...but that scar on her back does look strikingly familiar. That's Fat-Fantastic!
We didn't miss it. I bet if you go back to the Video discussion on it, you would see where we talked about it. A lot in the plot has changed since then and we didn't have anything to go by. I still don't see how anyone can blatantly identify all these blurry pixels, though.savingbree wrote:Ok.. What I wanna know is how did we miss this?

If that isn't the Watcher symbol, I dunno what else it could be!
We were postulating way back in the day that it was a BEAR!
Haha...
Anyway.. thoughts?

I would expect that if the mark is anything significant, Gemma will bring it up in a vid like she did the mark on the watchers hand. Guess we'll have to wait and see.Kasdeja wrote:We didn't miss it. If it is significant, I would guess it's a birthmark that siginifies something of importance in her bloodline/heritage and is passed on through the generations.
