Like we hadn't religiously followed CiW like they have OpAphid...and now they are ticked about US joining in? Hey, we're a bit ticked about the way this went down, too. After the letdown that was CiW, which launched this website's popularity, how can anyone blame us for not wanting to jump right in to what, by all appearances, was just another fan playing around with the ARG concept? Well, nice of you to not want us in. Great job, creatatrons, a lovely little loving community you've created, here....where people here for months are now the shunned outcasts.
Why is that the Creators fault?

Maybe they should have made some sort of indication that it was different than CiW? If it was all planned from the start, they saw what happened there...and now we're all of the sudden cannon? Hey, they are the ones planning this adventure.

Soooo not shunning you...I am of the opinion that fresh minds will be very helpful. We who have been working on this for a long time sometimes get stuck in the proverbial rut thinking-wise.

I think what they are worried about is that people who don't care to play but do enjoy messing things up, will start to post or attempt to gamejack.
It's official!! I'm getting married September 28, 2007!!

Yeah, we went through that with CiW. We aren't exactly a bunch of non game playing newbs, ya know. Plus, the gamejacking can happen with or without the huddles of unwashed masses joining in.

I don't think the Creators have anything to do with Op. I think that originally it was a fanvid and they decided to join forces to increase viewers and/or $$$.

Just a thought, which is a minor miracle for me

What TWJ is trying to tell you here, is that the Creators are not directly involved in the making of OpAphid but that's another group of people. Nevertheless, it's officially a creation of the LG15 extended crew and doesn't change anything to what you were concerned about Kas, and on which I agree with you.

The creators decided to make them canon, did they not?

Yep, when all these people were noobs on the scene, we helped them out, yes? Yes we did. When CiW was bringing in 3/4 of the activity on this site, we helped the noobs then, too. So nice of some of these people to be so selfish, eh?
