Cause wouldn't an orginization smart enough to brainwash children (the whole scheme of misteaching the kids APHID and such) be smart enough not to wait outside a hotel room smoking in plain sight?
Who says they are brainwashing them? Maybe they are in plain site so Bree knows they are there. She may not be telling Daniel everything...maybe it's why she blew off Gemma's "warning" about being followed to begin with. She knew who it was...and they meant her no harm.

Makes it sound like Tach is being herded like cattle.

"Move along little doggie..."

then there's no reason to bring Daniel in on it. we have no reason to believe they want him.

Don't some religions and cultures actually kick the young adults out for a while to make sure they can make it in the world and that they choose their way of life freely (Amish I think are one)?

Couldn't this be a form of that, but since we are only seeing it from a 17 year olds perspective, its gotten a little skewed?

That's a distinct possibility.

Op keeps saying be well - for the sake of us all.
She's keeping everyone safe, otherwise why would she say that?

I'm remaining neutral for the most part.
I'm unsure as to which side to join.

We have absolutely no background on Tachyon, other then she is in another organization which could be more nefarious then the Order.
Well obviously if they are ransacking the motel room you must think that it is more than mere observation.

Bree must have something of theirs or something else...

The only reason I can think of for someone supporting the Order is the same reason dictatorships around the world thrive- some people just love to be around people with control, and get some bullying done while they're at it.

Sure "watching" does no one physical harm. But it is obviously meant to intimidate - if they were worried for her safety why wouldn't they just talk to her or let her know like, for instance, where her parents are?

She had to have her parents hide money for her, which the order later stole, basically if you don't do what these people want you to they destroy your life.
A respectful organization would have been receptive to Bree and her parent's concerns and respected her right to not submit to a "ceremony" she didn't want to be a part of.

The problem is that in the relegions that do the year on your own tell their children about it they warn them and they give them reasons to come back they dont just run around kidnapping the parents....

I like Oppy a lot more than I like tach just because of the amount of discourse has given us at least an impression of where she stands........

Maybe I just dig the disenfranchised underdog. Go Tachyon!
Op, as great and hilarious as he/she may be, stands for an organization. I'll pick the little guy fighting the power. :smt066
