Just remember, though. Sometimes a rose is just a rose.
In all of Gemma's past videos, however, that table has been barren. The placement of a dead rose right in front of the camera does show some forethought. Especially since Gemma is such a neat-freak, she would have normally thrown out a wilting flower. They make a huge mess.

Maybe the rose has meaning, maybe it doesn't. Sometimes a rose is just a rose.
Though Gemma is a neat freak, maybe she wanted a little decoration?
If there is a message, that message is too obscure, since as of yet, there are still only theories and speculations. Is it a message pertaining Bree? Is it a warning; or a sign of things to come?
So many questions and (it seems) not enough clues to figure out the answers.
Maybe we're meant to wait for Gemma to give us more clues or an answer?

Hmmm... mayhaps that is what the rose is reallly symbolizing then?
Gemma's "15 minutes of fame" do seem to be up...
... but you know, flowers can be revived, maybe Gemma's popularity can be, too. Though whe was never really that popular to me, though.

Maybe it shows how totally desperate she is for attention. I mean, she's whining about how rude the guy was, and she still keeps his rose in plain site during the video? Sheesh.
Come to think of it, she does seem desperate in her pleas for Bree and Daniel to go home. Maybe the rose shows how much her life is relying on their decisions. Maybe she's becoming the pawn of the Order. Their "puppet," so to speak. Like, if she doesn't get Bree to listen, the Order will realize how useless she is and kill her off?

So, in this case, the rose is 'linked' to Gemma, like you mentioned, earlier about in Beauty and the Beast?
Could this be truth?

it means she's evil.

So... like, her presence is killing the rose?
Brilliant!

Just throwing this out there:

It seems from Tachyon's new vid that Gemma wasn't in the UK at all. I think she was probably working for the Order all along then.

Maybe the rose signified how she felt.
Between takes she must have been touching it...and it slowly breaking...signified her guilt towards her telling Bree to go home. Maybe her video, titled "Bad Decisions" were the bad decisions she's made, not us.

I so totally noticed the dieing rose too! I just never thought of mentioning it but that was creepy seeing that. Does it mean a character is about to die? That Bree and Daniel's relationship/friendship is dieing? Something overall and unforeseen is about to take place? Or as it has been said maybe: "A rose is just a rose." hmmmmm...

Awww, that makes me feel bad for hating her.

yea she definitely seems guilty---particularly toward the end of the video. it seems very odd that she would ask bree to tell her something as private as the contents of her parent's note over video...
at the very least the rose shows that gemma is distracted by something and that she filmed the video too hastily to think about her backdrop, etc. (look also how she brushes against it during the video but doesn't even seem to notice)

I agree with that, definately. It makes me curious to what is in that letter from Bree's parents. So far, that has been a complete mystery. All we know for sure is that when Bree talked with her parents, they told her to go with Daniel. If Gemma is on the other side of the fence, Gemma might know that there is something very important in that letter...maybe the Order are holding her parents until they know that they didn't reveal something to Bree they shouldn't have.
Gemma definately seems to be showing the theme of guilt with the dying rose.
