thanks to all who enjoyed the stats!

one stat not easily aggregated is the # of the posts per day information that shows up on each person's profile. there are a few people here that have averages of over 50 posts per day. thats impressive, and is interesting statistically because it means that on each day, that person contributes more posts than the total post count of 89% of all registered forum members.

Wow, that is very odd! So, in effect, those of us with 50+ posts/day are posting more, more often than anyone else. Of course, one must take into account the staggering number of lurkers on the forums. Of course you did a regression model of the number of posts, you must of to have that graph, so I was wondering if you could share the equation. And if not, can you send me the data so I can do one?

i didn't go a regression, just made a spreadsheet with (1) poster position # (1-200) and (2) # of posts for that person, and made the chart on excel. i can shoot you the file, no problem.

I never realize the distribution of it. I swear I thought more people had more posts than i thought
