Luv:
Gold has been studied extensively for medicinal uses for many ages. Despite this, the "cures" that David Hudson speaks of have no research basis, and I could not find ONE paper regarding what he mentions in that link.
There is SOME thought on the possible use of Gold as a cancer delivery method (as noted above), however the AIDS claim is not found in any scientific or medical journal that I could locate.
Gold has been used in medicine for many things (pacemakers, defibrillators), but its use in invasive cardiology has been restricted since the use of Gold on a stent caused an increase in late adverse reacitons.
About Bree's diet...I am quite certain that most individuals would be shocked to discover that almost all fruits and vegetables have SOME radioactivity from simply growing in the ground. Heck, Brick houses are a major source of what is considered "background" radiation.
All in all, scientifically these theories are interesting...but may be a little weak.
Then again, that is the scientist in me talking...so feel free to ignore me. LOL

In the video of daniel some people were saying there were drug pamphlets but I couldn't see them. Does anyone know what was on them?

Zosyn and Cerebex. Zosyn is an antibiotic, typically given IV in use (IM use has been used in European trials and dosing). Cerebex is typically used as anti-seizure medication. There have been a few off-label uses for Cerebex, but most are still under consideration and further research is needed.
There is no other use for Zosyn.
Beckers...
Gold is poisonous to the body if too much is taken. However, it has been used as an arthritic medication in the past. If the dosage is small, it does have its uses.
Heck, Vitamin E and even C have been shown to have negative effects on the body if taken in excess (more vitamin E, but C has recently been studied as well.)
Hope this helps ya Becker.

Well, it is all just fiction anyway.....the Creators couldn't point to a REAL company or person....they'd probably get in trouble!
I'm just trying to figure out where they are going with this and by disregarding SOME reality, I think this might have some significance.

Absolutely good point! Like I said...sometimes the scientist in me is too regid, and disregards the fantasy that this game exists in. It is a character flaw of mine.
Remember, though, that one of the creators is a doctor by education.

That's a possibility that I hadn't thought of, but is definitely worth consideration.
IIRC the ID as iron pills is very tenuous. Daniel asks Bree, "Are those iron pills?" and she makes a noncommital shrug. They could be anything.

Yeah, I remember that WE came to the conclusion it was iron.....

Holy Moly Luv2Skydive. You must have been up all night researching this stuff! That's what happens when the LG addiction get ahold of you - I feel better just knowing I'm not the only crazy one.
Great research!
