He's a skateboarder. He's rich. He lives alone. What's his deal?

Home Base: Beverley Hills

Post by onetruegnome »

During the Bree Chat on Nov 28 in Userplane, I looked at Bree's profile during all the chaos. I was pretty sure she gave her location as Beverley Hills, Cali. Now anyone could enter any location (ie. some Americans have put Turkey and Italy as their location). I'm going to look into that on the greyhound site assuming Daniel started from Beverley Hills just to get an idea.

$50 Am would have gotten Daniel up to Oregon or Washington, and that's all that would have mattered. Remember, Bree was already at Jonas' place and well, obviously Jonas was, too.

Also, Daniel only said he had to "borrow" $50 from his parents. That doesn't mean he didn't have any money to begin with. If the ticket is placed well enough in advance, a one-way ticket From LA to Seattle (only used as a guage) would cost $97 Am. So if Daniel already had $50-55 to begin with, then he would have been able to purchase a ticket, easily.

And, I know for a fact we have areas that look like that up in Washington...In fact, I thought it kind of looked a little like an area called Preston here...VERY small town out in the middle of nowhere...but like I said, that is a VERY long drive, and it is pretty far from the coast....

Oops, I meant How far would have $50 got 'him' not 'them'. My bad. Daniel also probably has a student discount since he was taking college courses.

Maybe I am biased, but do you think "Up here", might refer to the Canadian province of British Columbia? "Up here", is something we Canadians say when comparing Canada to the States.

They would need passports to cross the border though, and did Bree take hers? Did daniel even have one?

Also, while I was making some breakfast I realized that Preston had a lot of roads washed out in the storm, meaning a car/bus would be unable to go certain places, and daniel DID say he had to walk a ways...but still....preston is just sooooooooooooooo far from cali.

It'd be way too cold in Seattle, right now, let alone past the Canadian border. Remember... Bree was wearing a T-shirt, while outdoors, in the "skateboarding" video.

I'm from Chicago, and pretty accustomed to cold/inclement weather, but I'd still need more than just a shirt when it drops below 40 degrees Farenheit or below 30...

Trees or Vines?

Post by onetruegnome »

I had another look at the foliage shown at the end of Christmas Surprise. I'm no botanist, but it actually looks like vines, not a tree. Those leaves are very irregular - they don't seem to resemble any typical deciduous tree that I'm familiar with.

I don't know very much about botany, so I'm keeping away from the questions about foliage...

I should have checked the weather for the west coast first. Vancouver, BC is actually not all that cold usually. In Ontario it is pretty green right now, when it should be white. In BC they are having our weather. I just assumed it might be Tshirt weather in BC b/c its unusually warm here in ON.

I checked the weather in Oregon. I think Oregon can be ruled out too. Most likely they are in Cali.
