I don't think they have "Army Shops" in the middle of Los Angeles.

I like your video! I assume that you are just being facetious when you ask this question. I would have imagined that expended pistol ammo casings would be somewhat common in certain areas of SoCal.

I am sure they are common in some areas, but I think it is safe to say that they are not in most areas. The vincinity of the parking structure is a higher income area with many large estates. It is not uncommon to see a Porsche, Bently, etc... roaming the streets in this nieghborhood.

its not convincing for me, if soemthing like a bullet case was left behind by the creators or whoever is behind this, they would have left something else, and not this, it just doesnt convince me, kinda lame.

fun vid, but i'm not convinced either. i see plenty shoppers driving porsches and bentlys in seattle, but that doesn't mean no guns get fired. and that doesn't really compare to LA.
and i'm sure there are plenty of places in LA to find ammo casings other than the area around that shopping center

I believe you Colin. And I think it rocks that you took the time to drive around, make a video, etc. I've followed LG15 since August but I rarely comment, so you know you're alright if you got me to post something.

Let's all just agree that a bullet was there and we have no idea where it came from.
Thanks for the footwork.

The Target Range in Van Nuys, next to the Van Nuys airport...
The Firing Line Indoor ranges in Northridge or Burbank...
Any other gun range in the area...
From anybody who hunts or fires guns on a regular basis...
From a prop or stunt person in "the industry" ...
From any locale up in the hills where people go for target practice or hunting... (unfortunately, some of those people are polite enough to collect their spent shells)
Shell casings are usually considered trash...I could go and get a whole box if them right now if I wanted to from a variety of people. I'm a jewelry maker and I work with metals so I could eaily recycle them into some of my pieces...and because metals are becoming more and more expensive I know where to find stuff like that from people who are usually more than willing to just give it away.

Well, that's true. The ShOaks is mostly upperclass types who don't want to live on the Westside of LA or in Westwood/BelAir. Sherman Oaks is still in the same basic ritzy neighborhood, just on the other side of the hill. Although the immediate area around the mall are fairly average homes...well...average for the area. It's once you get south of Ventura and start climbing the hill do the big estates start popping up.
This shopping center is pretty ritzy...Bloomingdales, Betsey Johnson, BCBG, Coach, Sephora...yes, it's got all of the standard "mall" type places, but it is decidely more upscale than most. Although, it's nowhere near the snoot factor like the Beverly Center.

Good video Colin. I liked the song at the beginning. While I don't think we can take the bullet casing as canon, I do think it is very cool that you found it there. Again, great job!
