I'm growing my hair out, and when I get tired of it, I'm definitely going to donate again. It makes you feel so good to know that you've helped someone in need out.

Why is it bad that it's not just for cancer patients? My cousin was bald at age 7 due to an illness called aloprecia (not sure if I spelled it correctly) and received a wig.

Kasdeja,ITA , can you imagine the humliation a child(esp. a girl) ,goes thru if they are bald from alepicia or any other reason?(love your avatar,btw.)
For the record, I am going to grow my hair out thru the winter ,then donate it in the summer... so I have more to keep
...

i don't know if this was mentioned...
but the hair has to be clean...meaning it can't be dyed.

Ugh..that means my grey will be showing! I don't have a lot, just some wirey ones at the top...
are you sure? i read on the site that it just can't be bleached ....

well i have a friend wo has only ever dyed her hair once and they denied her hair because it was dyed.
