lol i like that too ;)
hehe lol but hey thats the fun of the show, I'll bet four vertural cookies that danny and bree end up together... 8) :)

I like alot of the thoerys so far, heres the website for name meaningshttp://www.behindthename.com/

here are some other names that could be her name based on what the name site says...

http://www.behindthename.com/nm/b.phpall names with the letter 'b' they also have a list of biblical names and names from mythology

I still like bree=cassie theory, but the site is full of possible ideas, examples:

"BITHIAH-Means "daughter of YAHWEH" in Hebrew. In the Old Testament this is the name of a daughter of Pharaoh."

"BEATA-Derived from Latin beatus meaning "blessed". It is also used as a short form of BEATRIX."( also if her mother is the Alpha female of the cult, wouldn't Bree be the beta female  :?: )

"BEELZEBUB-From Hebrew בַעַל זְבוּב (Ba'al Zevuv) meaning "lord of flies", intended as a mocking alteration of באל זבל (Ba'al Zevul) "Ba'al the exalted", one of the Canaanite names for their god BA'AL. In Milton's 'Paradise Lost' this is the name of Satan's chief lieutenant."

"BELLATRIX- Means "female warrior" in Latin. This is the name of the star that marks the left shoulder of the constellation Orion."

"ELIZABETH- From Ελισαβετ (Elisabet), the Greek form of the Hebrew name אֱלִישֶׁבַע ('Elisheva') meaning "my God is an oath" or perhaps "my God is abundance". In the Old Testament Elisheba is the wife of Aaron. In the New Testament Elizabeth is the mother of John the Baptist. It was also borne by the 12th-century Saint Elizabeth, a daughter of King Andrew II of Hungary who became a Franciscan nun and lived in poverty. This was also the name of a ruling queen of England and an empress of Russia. Famous modern bearers include the British queen Elizabeth II and actress Elizabeth Taylor."

" BATHSHEBA-Means "daughter of the oath" in Hebrew. In the Old Testament she was the woman who married King David after he had her husband killed in battle. She was the mother of Solomon."

theres a lot of others, I like these ideas/names as bree is clearly 'the chosen one' of the order, so why not a name that translates into it :smt023

*this is my longest post i think! going back to lurkdom now*

It's Jessica Rose!! OMGWTFBBQ!! No, really =P I like the Bree = Cassie theory.

Hmm as for the name Bree, I'm going to guess it's an acronym or something but the name meaning someone else got earlier makes sense "Power, high", maybe derived on why they chose her for the ceremony. I really dont' know =(

I agree, as I posted before, Jonas, Daniel and Lucy are very common bibical names. So is Gabriel. But can females have that name?

Of course.

I've even seen it spelled as Gabriella..or Gabrielle.

Bree IS her real name. She was probably abducted right after she was born, before her birth parents could give her a name.

OR, they did get to name her, and they named her Bree, and the order decided to keep that name.

If she had another name I think it's irrelevant.

Why do you think it has to be biblical??? Bree's family are satanist or occultist of some kind, not jews or christians. That's why i think it's probably Sabrina. I know 3 girls named Sabrina, all 3 who's families are into wicca/occult/satanism type stuff. Oh and the all are somtimes called bree

Oh, I didn't see it until... well... now. I couldn't tell b/c it was written vertically.

But, I still think it'd be Breanna. I've thought that since the beginning.
