gemma is MIA/Dead at the hands of brother.
why does it matter she is dead?
she could have done it months ago when bree first went on the run
it kinda annoys me wen people say definetly when there is no way the know it for definite
why it matters...don't know..i typed it...blah
but i remember her saying that Bree was soooo lucky to be choosen for the ceremony. So i'm guessing she was the majority of the children who didn't qualify
Good point. But didn't she also say that she fled to England because of the Order?

And now Bree has admitted in a video to us (and therefore to The Order), that her father told her about her background and secrets of The Order.

no she's been in the order all this time, and bree knew, but not to the extent that she was. Which is why a lot of people think Bree never really seemed to respond to her.
She was only in england for a brief time. And, from what I understand, came back before posting her videos. I'm guessing around the time Daniel started to snoop. probably to do away with him, as she has assasination experience

I wonder who was higher up in the Order, Gemma or Bree's mom.
Does anyone think Lucy was one of the girls stolen too?

i would say bree's mom...
but that is jsut a guess...
theres a theory floating around that Bree's mom is OpAphid, and OpAphid is Gemma's boss...
so if this were true...she's higher..
but that is jsut a theory

Eep!
Why is Gemma even in this discussion?! Get out, Gemma! She couldn't have been the Bree's replacement. She's too old and is already a vital member of the Order. Plus, she said Bree was really lucky to be selected which roughly implies that she wasn't lucky enough to be chosen, herself.

Exactly.
Maybe the ceremony has no set time limit. Maybe it's just once they find that really rare girl and she reaches the right time in her life.
Or, maybe they just missed the ceremony, which made them even more seriously pissed off.

Methinks that there is a time limit. In one video, one of the deacons even said that it was too late for Bree to back out and that they didn't have time to find a girl to replace her. So she either was replaced or the Ceremony was missed in which case...
a.) The Order is planning on using Bree for the next ceremony but now has more time and is in planning.
b.) No ceremony for Bree. She knows far too much, though. She must die.
c.) The Order's doing damage control for the missed Ceremony.

Gemma actually said she wasn't selected for the ceremony. When she was talking about leaving to live in London, I remember her saying something to the effect of, "Even though I wasn't selected for the ceremony like you were, it's still hard for me to be here."
I wouldn't think she would lie about that anyway, since if she said, "Oh, yeah, I was in the ceremony. It was lots of fun" (lol) she could have tried to convince Bree to go ahead with it by reassuring her.
I think it's too late too, at least for this ceremony. And I also wonder if Bree isn't somehow "tainted" by now. Afterall... she was getting shots, taking pills, on a strict diet and studying all the time. She's been on the run for months now, completely out from under their thumb, and I doubt if it was so important to be pure for the ceremony they'd want to use her anytime soon.
Maybe it is a situation of "she knows too much," but then why didn't they shoot her in the parking garage or kidnap her when they had the chance?

I agree with Killthesmiley about Bree's mom's status with the Order. I also have a theory that they already HELD the ceremony, but Bree lied to Daniel to say it never happened. She wanted to discourage him from following her, so he wouldn't get in trouble, so she made up that story.
I believe the ceremony HAS happened. However, Bree is expected to fulfill an important role upon completion of the ceremony. These are just my thoughts.

I s'ppose we can cross "knows too much" off the list, then.
So why else would the Order still be after her, if they are still after her? Marbella has a good theory...

I have three theories on this:
* Although October is the best time for ceremonies according to the Order of Denderah, there could be another month that could work almost as well, and the Order might try to capture Bree during that month
* The time for the ceremony has passed, but the Order is pursuing Bree so they can capture her and imprison her until this upcoming October; then, they will attempt to perform the Ceremony again
* The Order does not need to perform the Ceremony on a certain date, but there is still a time limit within which to perform it; perhaps that time has passed, but perhaps not, though if it has, that explains why it seems as if Bree is no longer being followed (remember, Lucy and her companion killed Bree's "dad" and left Bree alone, so he was likely the target and Bree was supposed to witness his death)

It's fairly concrete that:
-The Order isn't trying [full-force] to capture Bree
-The Order is planning something
-There is/was some form of time limit for the Ceremony [as indirectly stated by a Deacon when Bree decides not to perform the Ceremony]

I know this has been said already...but seriously think about this, if they still want Bree, why didn't they grab her when they had the chance in the parking garage? By what can be seen in the video, they could of easily grabbed her and that would of been that...but they let her go and focused more on her dad.
I'm sure the writers didn't want the plot line of Jonas and Daniel constantly having to chase after Bree....but still, its a little confusing.
Bree does know a lot and The Order knows she does, so why is she still alive? And are they really still after her? Maybe she's more special than any of the other girls, so that's why she is still alive...who knows.
haha, sorry for changing point of views, I was just trying to look at it from different angles.
