I don't know..I don't think Op could be Cassie. I think OpAphid might be a group of females that performed the ceremony, so maybe Cassie is included in that---but just Cassie = OpAphid..not likely.

Wow, can't believe I didn't think of it like that. Bree thought that she was weirded out, and maybe Cassie was and was trying to help Bree in some way, but got snatched by the Order before she could do anything.

Ok, so I'm new to the forums, but have been watching the videos for a while, and very recently catching up on a lot of the story I missed do to not knowing it was happening outside of youtube.

Ok, so here's my take on Cassie, a little of Daniel, Gemma, and Jonas.

Ok, so we all (at least most) agree that Bree was being raised specifically to complete the cermony, in a very isolated lifestyle. If they were willing to control Bree's life to the extent that we are lead to believe, then we have to accept that certain people may have existed in Bree's life, if even for a short time, because the Order wanted them there to help establish certain aspects of Bree's personality.

Cassie very well could have been a Order plant to help establish an aspect of Bree's personality, whether it was to mind her parents, or outsiders can get you into trouble, or whatever it might have been.

Depending on how long the Order has been following this cycle, Gemma could have (and probably was) an Order plant, to help protect against a possible future rebellion on Bree's part. Establish a person who can begin offering quick advise do to her having developed a trusting relationship in the past.

Daniel and Jonas are another matter, as who they are and their previous affiliations (if any) are unknown. But the above principles still apply if we work from the fact that one or both have been with the Order/Op for some amount of time. They are in Bree's life to provide some kind of control/personality reenforcment, whether they are aware of it or not.

Those are just some ideas, and give time outside of work, could probably be expounded upon into a rather lengthy analysis.

Again, I'm new at this so this could all be very old news to some people.

On that assumption, Cassie looks mighty dazed. She may be drugged, or brainwashed, much like Daniel in "Miss me?"
So, what if Cassie is in the same place Daniel is. Or she was and got killed or something.
What if Daniel met her there and that explains his sudden recall of that-girl-Cassie?
So that would mean that the same thing they do to Cassie, they are now doing to Daniel. Maybe this is kind of to scare Bree into coming back to them.
Either way, we do know that Bree told Cassie about her religion. Enough to scare her away. And then she just vanished? Maybe they kidnapped her.

Hmm... that sounds perfect... they might have lured her in with the spin art too...

Cassie was never real. The Order implanted memories into Bree's mind. Or, maybe, if she was engineered, then perhaps Cassie was one of the engineers whose name she heard frequently. She processed things strangely as she grew up.


OK, OR... Cassie is like a trigger. The memory (and we can go with the whole embedded memory thing for this) of Cassie is like a trigger that allows The Order (or specifically Op) to have some sort of control over Bree's thoughts.

(Ok, so I had a great post going, but I some how managed to hit some random set of keys that closed the window on me, so you can consider youselves lucky that you have been spared my incoherent ramblings...for now.)

I should probably clairify that I was/am aware that Gemma is a plant, I was mearly speculating as to the nature of her mission. Which I believe to be more one intended to control, to whatever degree possible, Bree's movements and attitudes towards the order. If you watch the Gemma videos in one sitting from start to finish, she becomes more and more insistant, obviously because Bree is not listening to her advise, which, when one knows that she is a plant, is meant to cause Bree to be captured.

I also finding it telling, that on more than one occasion, Gemma tells Bree to trust Daniel and no one else, specifically mentioning Jonas by name. Now, there are a couple of ways to interperet this, depending on just how paranoid you want to get.

Going with the assumption that neither Jonas to Daniel are a plant from either side of the conflict, we can assume that Gemma wants to either sound pretective of Bree in order to keep her trust, or she wants to keep Bree with Daniel as the he has been on OpAphid's screens for longer and is easier to predict than Jonas.

There is a possibility that Jonas is a plant from the Order, however he was placed there by a different section, one either higher up the ladder that OpAphid is unaware of or to the side that OpAphid has a rivalry with. Due to the number of people with obviously high levels of reasoning skills (those puzzles and codes you have been cracking are amazingly hard, and I would have been lost had I been in some people's shoes), I can only reason that this has been talked about before, but I will broach the subject again. Secert Societies (at least in fiction as I have not learned of any in real life), tend to had a high degree of secrets even among themselves. Many levels of the Society do not know that there are higher levels above them, even to the point of thinking that they run the show. Also depending on how this Order is run it is very possible that there are multiple sections that exist beside each other, some probably with rivalries. It is very possible that Jonas is a plant from one of the above options, and OpAphid either doesn't know, or he's from a rival and OpAphid wants Bree for themselves.

Another Option is that Jonas is a plant from the Mom and Dad group that Tachyon and Brother belong to. In this case, I hightly doubt that Gemma is aware of that or the Order would have moved much more quickly. (Also I have a possible theory that the Mother/Father is actually a former parent group to OpAphid who went rogue and took the Order with them and Taychon and Brother are working on reining OpAphid back into the group so they can regain complete control again. Whether it's true in highly questionable, but it would make for an interesting plot twist.)

We also have the possibility that Daniel is a plant from OpAphid, and this is all some elaborate attempt to groom Bree for something bigger than the Ceremony, maybe she passed some kind of test and they want to make sure she is qualified for a greater purpose, such as a OpAphid Agent of some kind.

There are a lot of other permutations of involvement (There is the faint possibility that Bree is a double agent and is trying to catch the Order somehow for Tachyon's team, I know it's silly, but I would find it funny.)

One last thing I wanted to touch on before someone yells at me for falling so far off topic that search parties are going to need to be sent out is one of the Theories about Gemma and the Watchers.

I noticed that some people have mentioned that Gemma either made up the Watchers in order to scare Bree in to running once more and create a deeper level of paranoia, or branded a group of good guys as the Watchers in order to keep Bree on her guard against the good guys. These are all plausible suggestions and theories, but I have another to toss into the mix for review. Namely, that sometimes the best thing you can do to frighten someone into making a mistake is to tell them the truth.

Bree was already terrified about the Order, nothing Gemma said was going to change that. What the Order needed was for Bree and Daniel to become so scared that they would mess up some how. Easiest way to do that is to keep them running, it would keep them tired and scared, both conditions that do not lend themselves to careful and well informed decisions. All Gemma did was confirm that they were being followed, that they needed to keep moving and keep looking over their shoulder. She really didn't give away any level of deep information, and when she released the info, she did get them moving again, so in that it was a successful ploy. Gemma has shown great signs of being highly manipulative and I doubt she was ever in the running for the ceremony as he personality doesn't lend itself towards blind complaince. Either way I have a feeling that Gemma told them about the watchers deliberately, knowing full well that she could release a piece of information that carries no real weight, but would scare Bree and Daniel silly.

Ok, so there is my pondering, my first post was much better, but I am just not able to reconstruct it (silly computer). I hope I have rehashed anything that has already been beaten to death, and if I did that I brought at least a slightly new perspective to the debate.
