I wonder what that makes "Tom"?
Tru dat--- and so we really really should.Luminous wrote:I know. That's pretty crazy isn't it, given the small percent of world demographics we (americans) constitute. But, as the video says, "Shift Happens". We have the power to change that.PinkoLady wrote:That was really interesting-- it reminded me of the estimation that today, we release something like 10 times the emissions daily than we did in a year during the post-industrial revolution 1800s.
That freaks me the f**k out.
The politics of why we've been so slow to is really interesting, actually-- not conspiracy theory but economic reality, of course--
have you heard of a film called "Who Killed the Electric Car?"

Hey! That was my lucky assassin hat!
After fourteen years of reserch and development, Guy Negre has developed an engine that could become one of the biggest technological advances of this century. Its application to CAT vehicles gives them significant economical and environmental advantages. With the incorporation of bi-energy (compressed air + fuel) the CAT Vehicles have increased their driving range to close to 2000 km with zero pollution in cities and considerably reduced pollution outside urban areas.
As well, the application of the MDI engine in other areas, outside the automotive sector, opens a multitude of possibilities in nautical fields, co-generation, auxiliary engines, electric generators groups, etc. Compressed air is a new viable form of power that allows the accumulation and transport of energy. MDI is very close to initiating the production of a series of engines and vehicles. The company is financed by the sale of manufacturing licences and patents all over the world
Looks like CAT's very well may be smarter than humans

Granted, I am kind of into cars and everything...but even so..why do we have to humiliate ourselves by making these types of vehicles look like something fisher price made...or a missing piece of a hampster habitat?? I would not ride around in that..that is embarrassing.
Me and my key...same as it ever was.
Thank you for your comment, Thamus, and welcome to the forum. I see you're new

If we're going to have a brain with more computational power than the human race, it would be good to put it to work doing something useful

Oh yeah. I'm that girl on FOB Life who Rafine said that Reza, Jackson, and Yousef all wanted to screw when I called in.
