I think this is better. We now know Jonas' parents had some involvement with the Order (apparently as critical opponents), and that might mean their "sea accident" wasn't so much of an accident.

I still wonder if Jonas knows more than he's letting on, though. If he didn't, and asked them to come live with him, that would end up being pretty convenient (and unlikely). If it does turn out that way, it'll kind of push the suspension of disbelief, but as long as it's done well it might not be too bad. Right now, I'm happy with the state of things.

It was a good video and I like the direction things are going in. They actually got on the road with an intended purpose in mind that could help them out, and they did something more than stopping at every motel they saw. Well done, guys.

Here's what Daniel said about the stack of papers:

Thanks, Virginia. BTW, can anyone see what's just to the left at the top of the long list of initials? I assume it's "cc:" or something similar indicating who got copies of the treatise. Too bad we don't know anybody's last names -- or even first names (cough *Bree's parents* cough).

And I'm amazed I actually made it onto the second page of comments about a brand-new vid.

Jonas sounded quite omenous when he said three was a crowd. I think he is plotting how to get rid of Bree. I seriously hope he turns out to be evil. It would suck if he turned out to be good and Bree turned out to be wrong. I hope there is some weird twist where he leads them into a trap and they have to escape.

Yea... I dunno. I trust Jonas more now, but I don't at the same time. And most def. have a bad feeling about his aunt's house.

And he really does have have a good reason to be POed at Bree. But, at least he's still helping them.

Jonas definitely knows more than he has let on. I refuse to believe that the Creators would let it stand as a random coincidence that Jonas had followed Bree's story and offered them shelter (and oh, wow, would you look at that we have something in common). Just no way. It would cheapen the entire story and destroy any intelligent fans ability to suspend disbelief. Daniel should be asking more questions about what Jonas knew and why he never came clean.

Also, Jonas needs to recognize that his suspicious behavior and refusal to be forthcoming definitely contributed to Bree thinking he was her enemy.

I am completely not convinced that Jonas is good yet. In fact I am still holding out for a major betrayal.
