Same error...must use a different player than YouTube. This sucks. Does this mean no more videos on YouTube? I'd have to say I will probably not continue if that's the case.

Also from the Order of the Gecko FAQ:

Q: How long have you been around?
A: The Order of the Gecko was founded on March 27, 2003 at around 9 pm EST, by a close knit group of friends from various parts of the United States.

That's not long enough to fit into the long timeline that Bree has been following in her religious order. Also not international enough.

Could it have been "Order of the Golden Dawn"?

Or (be still my heart!) "Order of Dagon"?

i'm hearing something like "order of venro" but that doesn't have any results when googling the term ;) can anyone slow down the audio so that we might be able to hear what she's saying?

It's a work computer...they don't exactly worry about having the most up to date media players and I don't have allowance to upgrade or add them.

Personally, I think it sucks that it's not on YouTube, since THAT is where they came from.

yes, and the site has been registered since 2004, so it's unconnected!

We sure she's saying gecko?

It's definitely "order of --ko" Something like deko, veko, gecko...tried some random spelling searches and didn't get anything better than gecko.

Various searches for Thelema and gecko don't turn up much, except there is mention of someone named gordon gecko...

JCA wrote:What is the Order of the Gecko?
The Order Of The Gecko is a group of like-minded individuals who seek to promote religious and philosophical tolerance through active participation from its members of various walks of life.

What does Fidelis Causo Questio stand for?
Literal Translation: Faithful cause questing. It is a latin phrase that sums up the Order's mission and prupose. We are faithful to the cause of seeking truth, understanding, and wisdom from all religious beliefs, faiths, practices, and walks of life.

(from the link i posted)
Cool find, but I don't think that's it.

Order of the Gecko looks like it's an ameter group - the website doesn't look very professional and it only gets about 1000 Google hits.

It sounds like she's saying "order of venyo" or something.

Either the creators made something up or this is an esoteric reference I'm completely missing.

Gordon Gekko is a fictional character from the popular 1987 movie Wall Street and has no relationship to Crowley or Thelema.

Heh...well, I did search quickly, and it was quoted in a few places. Hey, everything's worth checking...

Well I tried to cross refernce gecko with religion and ended up on David Icke's page talking about the "occult reptilian saga", with references to the illuminatae and occult magic.

I'm prbably way off the mark, I only searched for it for a laugh

Most likely we misheard her.

Just on a whim, is it possible she says "ordo" something? Thelema has the Ordo Templi Orientis, which celebrates the Gnostic mass...

it still sounds like order of gecko to me, though...and daniel does say "order of what?"

The closest I can get is hearing "Pluthero". But all I can see from the results when I look it up on google is that it may have something to do with her play.
