I think I'm gonna have to go with the miniority and say that Frank's not dead. In fact, I think that Frank faked his own death by pretending to be his widow. Think about it : you find your husband dead, but still have enough of a grip on yourself to look at the computer screen splattered with his blood and think, "Golly gee, he had a blog. Also, people are saying that his last post in his other blog Private Thoughts (It might as well hurt) was created by his head on the keyboard. I don't think this is true, I think this is more of Frank faking. Try it yourself; put your entire hand down on the keyboard and see what happens. My computer just makes a beeping noise and doesn't type anything, and the computers at my school just continually type the letter that was hit the first or the hardest.

Well obviously the last post by his fiance was total cheese. But the thoery everyone has about his head hitting the keyboard is pretty lame if you ask me. Sure his head would hit the keys... but to get random lettering like that, his head would have to roll around and it would probably hit numebrs and symbols. Not to mention, how would his head move the mouse to the subit button and click it? I think it was just him hitting random letters. I know I do that when I'm frustrated too.

Secondly this is a board for the purpose of discussing ideas..while you may disagree with what I say, I would say that the moderators would prefer us to not engage in a flame fest. While I can take destructive comments..please at least have some intellectual basis and wit behind the posts..and do not try to censor anyone's ideas..However seeing as you obviously lack the wit required to engage in a interesting flame fest and for the decorum of the boards.... Everyone has all these theories stating that Frank is still alive, yet no proof as to WHY they believe he would be.
Frank serves no more purpose to the ARG. Why would the PM want to fake his death at this point? Especially if Cassie has other vessels to speak through?

This has been known for several days and has been looked over quite thoroughly.

Most are positive that it is simple keyboard smashing in frustration, and not any sort of code- Frank said himself that he wasn't one for games or codes in the IRC chat.

If "Frank" is dead then there should be something in the newspaper relatively soon. I'll pick up the San Gabriel Valley Tribune and check it out for the next couple of days.

Something to note is that obituaries are only published when sent in by family, so it's not uncommon for a suicide to not be obit-ed. Additionally, if a suicide took place in a public venue, it may not be publicized at all. So, lack of an obit or story isn't proof of anything.

I swear, every post I've made tonight is just me pissing in someone's Cheerios. I have to stop with the rampant optimism. Sheesh.
