It seems like this has to have some sort of relevance to the story line. But what the heck is it? Come on Creators! Give us another clue!
The posters could not be more than a coincidence, they couldn't of been placed there by the creators, the theater isn't in on the plot. Except possibly for the use of the word "fur" then showing the movie poster for the movie Fur. But even then I doubt if it means anything.
I'm not implying that the Creators placed the posters there. But I do think that they were shown for some particular reason, even if it was just to highlight the Fur poster.

And along with the comment about P. Monkey not wearing fur, it seems like it could mean something.

Who knows, though? At this point I see EVERYTHING as a clue, lol!

Hi everyone, I have been following these forums closely but have not posted until today. One thing I noticed on http://www.furmovie.com/ was that it was only playing in LA, San Francisco, and New York. Is it possible that they are up in SF? They definitely spent some time on the road, could the reason the vid showed phone numbers and area codes be that they are not in LA anymore? It just seems that we are supposed to take notice of the sights at the mall and the #'s and the Fur poster.

Anyways, it was just a thought.

I've been freezing the video at specific points in time. when i saw the possible area codes and one of them being 818, it fit with my conclusion that the first two numbers were 81, the second set i honestly believe is 907, i havent been able to make out any of the numbers in the 3rd set. so, so far i have come up with 818-907-_ _ _ _ . does that make sense?

Also, if we know the area code, someone pointed out earlier we could narrow down the second set of 3 numbers easier, because specific area codes are also assigned to a particular location within the 818 area code.

I think Bree's been a bit crazy since the beginning, talking to P.Monkey and stuff.

The area code on the sign kind of looks like 415 at times...that would fit.

Part of the suspension of disbelief that we have had to engage in is the idea that Bree's parents and the people who are after her are unaware of this website or Youtube or any of the other websites that post these videos.
While you're right with your first paragraph (which was your main point, I realize), the second isn't entirely germane to this particular situation. Daniel definitely knows about this forum (and has mentioned it before), and it's been somewhat implied that Gemma knows about it too.

Nonetheless, though, you're correct in your initial point: it's fairly obvious Mr. Greystoke isn't a character. This section of the forum is an out-of-character section that "doesn't exist" to the characters.

I will be devastated if Lordgs turns out to be canon. He's so perfect as 'one of us' with his opinions & such.

No, if you read what I wrote I said Bree's parents and the people who are after her supposedly don't know about the website. Bree, Daniel and Gemma obviously do since they post their videos here.

That was my point. Were Lordgreystoke a character, he could know about this place the same way Daniel and Gemma do (i. e. he's not Bree's parents or the Order; at least I don't think so from what I've seen of his vids, which I admit isn't all of them). But he's not canon, so it doesn't matter.

re: wearing fur in california.

Someone asked if we wear fur in CA. Thats a difficult thing to answer. CA is a huge state and there is no one set group of liberals/conservatives that are in majority. At least in my opinion.

Its a pet peeve of mine because people who only know about CA because of Hollywood really dont have a clue. We're not all crazy scientologist vegetarians PETA Kabbalah people.

The further N you get, the more conservative the people tend to be, once you get past the bay area.

Do we wear fur? Not generally. Its usually not THAT cold and in general fur is pretty much out of fashion.

I took Bree's comment "P Monkey doesnt wear fur and I don't blame him" as coming from a young girl who probably has a bit of lisa simpsons brainiac liberalism thrown her way ;) If that makes sense.

I do find the comment about fur and the movie fur in the same video to be very interesting. One of Diane Arbus' most famous photos is a set of twins.

* Identical Twins, (1967) — Young twin sisters are seen standing side by side in corduroy dresses. One slightly smiles and the other slightly frowns. This photo is echoed in Stanley Kubrick's film The Shining, which features twins in an identical pose.

This twin thing has come up more than once. Maybe thats a connection?

Arbus' is also famous for her "freak" photography.

Despite Lordgreystoke's fumigation's, I think that the video is meant to give us an idea of where they are. The list of theaters that were showing both The Guardian and Gridiron Gang on Thursday is rather small, all of them in second run theaters outside large metropolitan areas. The shots of the skylight and the fountain are site specific. As I mentioned earlier the Cinemark theater in Lancaster, CA. seems like a good bet. Maybe someone could go out there and see if it has a outdoor fountain and a skylight like we saw in the video. It sounds like a good assignment for Nikki

Oooh, perhaps more info on the "Jonas and Bree are actually brother and sister" theory! Good info!

I'm convinced this video is intended to introduce us to Jonas.

jonastko was added as a member of the forums on Sept. 9 - the same day "The Creators" ID was created. This does not mean he's official, but it's as close as I can get without some conformation. At the very least, the ID has been in existence without use since that day.
