No I don't think they did, but I agree that they didn't seem to be freaking out in the way you would expect them to, especiealy Daniel. But I don't think that was meant to be read into the plot.

You're quite right about that- up to a point. The Order doesn't seem to need the car, card, or cash for their kidnapping purposes.

However, if The Order wanted to not only kidnap, but to curtail a likely pursuer, the car, card, and cash could come in handy to set up a patsy. I am looking for Jonas to start bringing the suspicion on Daniel.

I disagree with you that Jonas will blame Daniel, as he would have to be completely irrational to think that Daniel would stay had he stolen the money.

I do, however think you are on to something with the idea of setting someone up; by stealing cash, a car, and a credit card the order could give the illusion that Bree left of her own free will, when she may have been actually...incapicitated.

My speculation is more based on the idea that The Order just might be getting tired of being foiled so many times, and seeking out a method to not only succeed, but keep from being pursued as well.

I guess I am just a bit suspicious myself of Jonas here- he has kinda popped in too conveniently, offering a seeming panacea. Things too good to be true are often precisely just that.

That got me thinking. If Bree disappear right after going to Jonas's when Daniel wasn't there, Daniel definitely would have found and killed (seriously hurt) Jonas. Maybe Jonas wanted Daniel there to ease his mind. Now that Daniel is there and his mind is at ease that Bree is safe, Jonas could easily help the order while keeping Daniel distracted. This is just an idea... not necessarily my theory...

Good thinking Joy...once again seeing an angle I hadn't seen before! It makes sense, that Jonas would wait for Daniel to be there. However, one would think that he would wait a little longer than 1 day, simply to allow some time for her to spend time with him before she got taken...as with Joy, not my theory, just musing a little!

Where did she say that they were meeting the 30th. We don't know EXACTLY how or when Bree left a message for her father. It has been discussed that the CUSOON message in the Mystery Movies video was actually a message to Daniel, Jonas and the fans, letting everyone know she planned on returning.

As far as driving... Give me a break with the little driving experience stuff! I agree that it doesn't take long for someone to learn how to drive. I learned to drive in an hour. It's really not that hard.

People are thinking the CUSOON message was that message. The Movie Mystery video was posted Saturday 23, so one week from that is Saturday the 30th.

Could anyone get a screenshot of what's on the shelves behind Jonas' head when he wipes his mouh or whatever on his shoulder. I noticed that the boxing gloves aren't there, but there's something else too.

And then see if everything is in the same place as in hte Bree Phone Home video. You can see everything in that

I think this is an excellent theory. It's consistent with Bree's disappearing without any sign of breaking and entering or other violence.

Even if she's only gone to meet her dad, though, I don't expect her to show up at Jonas's again. Either she's already been taken, or she'll be taken when she's at the rendezvous point.

I agree with arammat that the "Learning to Drive" vid laid the groundwork for her being able to borrow Jonas's car to meet her dad. We know for sure that Bree has at least had some driving lessons, whereas if we hadn't had that vid, we would undoubtedly have been speculating: "She's been so sheltered and homeschooled, she couldn't possibly know how to drive Jonas's car!" Etc.

I disagree with arammat, though, about the significance of the two different stories about missing money/credit cards. Given how much we study each video, the creators must be trying to make some kind of point here. What seems to make the most sense is that Jonas is trying to concoct a plausible story that will make Bree seem like the bad guy, and will prevent Daniel from being able to go to the cops -- which we know he's wanted to do, and what he probably would have done long ago if Bree hadn't been around to dissuade him.

Argh. This situation really could go either way.
