Marbella, the RIPE you found in Amsterdam has no direct connection with the golden-dawn.com site. It’s an internet techical services provider based in Amsterdam that the web host LevOnline probably uses in some capacity. In any case, sorry, it’s not at all relevant here.

And also, as I previously posted, that webhost is located in Sweden, not the Netherlands. Not that it makes any difference, really. Possibly the site owners are located in the Netherlands? It’s registered to someone in California though — since *1996*. I think it’s a legit site (not necessarily connected to the real Golden Dawn of course).

The RLBS listing link above (er, below) is the listing of all the blacklists that IP is on. In other words, apparently some of the sites hosted there are suspected of spam abuse (either knowingly or unknowingly mostly thanks to all the Windows users in the world acting unwittingly as zombies).
I’m not sure where the Amsterdam info above (okay, below!) is coming from, but the golden-dawn.com domain has this registration info:

Domain servers in listed order:
NS.LEVONLINE.COM
NS2.LEVONLINE.COM
I would NOT suggest anyone start calling these numbers or emailing these addresses. I really think this is totally unconnected, or, at best, someone NOT affiliated with that golden-dawn.com website tried to steer you there.
Anyway, that’s the scoop.

As I had posted previously, the IP 217.70.33.133 is LevOnline, a web hosting service. The website golden-dawn.com is just ONE of the many sites hosted there.
Now, I’m not saying we weren’t supposed to find it — maybe we were — either because of some clues, or, more likely, some sort of scam or marketing or hoax. It’s also possible though that it’s a coincidence. Or that The Deacons just found that site, found the IP of the web host, and pointed us to it. Who knows.

Marbella's Response:
AestheticOfDecay, you have a better grasp than I do of how those servers and IP's work. Thanks. I totally scoured the internet about this, and they ARE not officially recognized by the Golden Dawn. They are an off-shoot. In the LGpedia, some thoughtful soul just listed "The Deacons," in a "fan-fiction" section. If they're fun, play their game.. like anything else, they COULD become canon. AED, You've also pointed out that "Golden Dawn" is not the only web-site associated with that IP address. "The Deacons" could be anyone.
