Maddison Atkins "No More" [4/29/07]

Damn. That was crazy intense.
But I'm not sure it was the work of an OpAphid agent...they are more likely to gloat over what they would consider an achievement or a job well done...
And if it was an agent of Op and not a set up, how did they know where they were going? Did they have different agents sent to all Maddy and Adam's possible "safe houses"?

OMG OMG OMG.
I updated the Maddison Avenue page with this video and put the page in mourning.
I can't bring myself to edit the banner to read "This Is Not A Game ~ This Was Maddison's Life".

Here's my other thought...if WarPylol is really the person in the video, would he let himself be caught on camera and then post the video. Seeing as he's supposed to be such a super-secret assasin, one would think that he wouldn't want his appearance to be known.

Let's not go there. Let's not even bring that issue up.GawainsChallenge wrote:I still think Glenn did this. He did create WarPylol, did he not? And I said I wasn't happy that Glenn was behind this, didn't I?
What if Glenn is a bigger jerk than we ever realized?
But I suspend judgment until I see if anything else happens with this series.

I'm waiting for "What Time Is It" to kick in, and for Tachyon's fake-out-Warpylol plan to be revealed.

The video is so intense that it's really hard to analyze it. I do like the YouTube comment that Virginian9000 made:
For me it's serving as a wake-up call for participating in an ARG -- "this is not a game." Maybe our actions and advice have ultimate consequences. We were the ones who told her to run. We were the ones who were supposed to help her with the puzzles. There were so many questions about the drop puzzles -- if we had figured something out sooner, maybe this wouldn't have happened?

What a way to start the Monday! It looks like Maddy might have staged her own death to go into hiding from the Order. Notice the animals in the video. Only trained dogs would not run and hide at the sound of gunfire. I think this was staged to get the Order off their backs, so it's not over.

The drops. I think it was there and we missed it.
A mad guy being driven away from. The significance of the lack of arms could just be emphasizing ARMS, like, "He is armed." He's being driven away from.
The second drop. Someone (I can't remember who) in the chat suggested that the eyes might kind of be a reference to MADD-EYE-SON. Maddison. The girl was on the east coast. What if that drop was Zipp's way of saying, "Head east, not west!"?
The third drop. A guy outside a house. Zipp's way of saying, "He knows where you live!"?
...We missed it, didn't we?

Maybe. There are still unsolved puzzles, there are still clues to be deciphered. Still answers to be found. Maybe there was something in them to protect her, and we failed to find it in time. As such, Maddy was killed.lg15panda wrote:One word: whoa.

But we (and she) knew all along that she'd have to run, she knew that by the 25th she'd be out of time. What was she going to do, sit in her room and wait for Warpy to come for her there? No, she was going to do the logical thing and take off like a bat out of hell. I wouldn't sit around if I knew that I was on a deadline for my life.
