I have been catching up, and I hope I'm not too late with a suggestion for the I based on the 12 pages here that I read and the other resources available.
Analyze
Protect
Hinder
Influence (as in influencing a stranger to support you, trust you or leave you alone to do what you have to do)
or maybe
Implement (as in implementing a a standard procedure, plan or set of steps until one realizes whether or not the stranger is "safe?")
Just the .02 of a catcher-upper

Almost 5 hours later and I've almost got an idea. My brain is fried. I don't get is how you check to see if your clue is right in the acronym. Oh whatever, too much, I'm done for now and sadly addicted to the saga of dirtygirl15! Secret languages.....ha!

We've got confirmation for Infiltrate.
