I guess it all depends whether you want LG15 to stay exactly the way it is and keep on being your little show for ever. Keep in mind interest will continue to wane, the press will lose interest, and as time goes on and no publicity viewers will subside.Killthesmiley wrote:HyeMew my whole argument on the secretiveness is that they shouldn't ahve even alerted the media. that was a big mistake.
It's like we're posting from the FUTURE.Killthesmiley wrote:on firday it will be a part of the plot...we're jsut ahead of our selves.
I have to apologize for turning attention to Mr. Hung. This could go to LG15 in the Press perhaps. Not deleted, however.Absynth wrote:still, what does any of this have to do with the actual plot?
someone should move or lock or delete this thread. not plot related at all
I think there's one in there already...and the one in website announcements, too, I think.gogo wrote:I have to apologize for turning attention to Mr. Hung. This could go to LG15 in the Press perhaps. Not deleted, however.
Friday...it's Friday.Killthesmiley wrote: firday
I 100% agree with your points. You are right, thy do need the publicity. BUT there was no need for saying when the video was going to be posted and what was going to happen in the video. Ok...really there was no need to say what was going to happen. They could ahve said posting day...i'll settle for that...but the spoiler was a little muchHyeMew wrote:I guess it all depends whether you want LG15 to stay exactly the way it is and keep on being your little show for ever. What it needs is a good shot in the arm.
They tried that "LG will advertise your product" approach back in early December. They don't seem to have picked up any advertisers though, at least not visibly. Face it, if we believe what they tell us, The Creators are really struggling.
What could be a good degree of publicity along with more attention from others might do it a lot of good. For everyone who is worried about the integrity of the series, this was stated to be a NON-RECURRING CAMEO. Seeing as vids are never more than 3 minutes, and Bree and Daniel have to set up their whole "we're going to the outside world for a visit", McPhee can't have much screen time at all. She might not even be a named character. Her role will be likely be minimal. Then the series will continue on and things will be like they were. Except hopefully with more publicity and more viewers. I can't see what's objectionable about this.
I couldnt agee more. like I said before, such things are necessary to keep the show going, whether we like it or not.HyeMew wrote:I guess it all depends whether you want LG15 to stay exactly the way it is and keep on being your little show for ever. When did they try product placement? I dont remember...They tried that "LG will advertise your product" approach back in early December. They don't seem to have picked up any advertisers though, at least not visibly. Face it, if we believe what they tell us, The Creators are really struggling.
