Thats where I got "the dude" it from. Love the movie can't quite remember all the lines but I will never forget the Jesus sequence.

we now have a live journal community, as well as the chat.

http://community.livejournal.com/maddisonatkins/

mostly for storage of information since this thread is already getting long and cluttered.

and again, the chat #maddison on freenode (kas, i bet you can get past your firewall using the CGI site i listed in my previous post about the chat)

Aw, I was all excited but this firewall must be one hell of a firewall. Stupid work computer. :( Oh well...thanks, though!

*grumble* I, for one, think the discussion needs to remain here. Not in IRC... Not in a livejournal community.

FWIW, even though Kasdeja *might* be able to bypass her corporate firewall to join IRC via the CGI site, doing so would probably violate IT policy. Violating IT policy gets people fired at many companies...

I hate it when discussions go on in only one channel. I think the IRC channel is a good resource for those of us that can get to it, but it will be absolutely imperative for everyone to share information. It doesn't matter whether you discuss something in IRC, on the LJ, or even on myspace or something, you have to make sure the information gets back here. For my part, I will do my best to make sure that happens.

Hey, guys! Would y'all like me to go through here and split out conversations into In-Depth? If so, since this'll be a first for me, suggestions definitely wouldn't hurt...

I'll be around most of the day...

Please do...

It's too late at night for me to give suggestions right now, but I have faith in your abilities. 8)

So, the conversation will then be in *three* places?! If you move part of it, please move it all. I don't mind it being split as much as I mind not being able to keep track of all the threads ;)

Please, don't get upset or leave because of the chat. Of course all relevant information will be posted here. Some people just like to chat, if you don't that's fine, dont' feel like you will be left out, becuase that's really not the case. (right now they are talking about video games)

but if we get drops (/me crosses fingers - caribbean drop please!) the chat will be important to communicate with the person/people going to get the drop.

again, don't worry, all of the info will be stored here (besides, this is where maddison has chosen to communicate with us). the chat is more just for casual conversation and brainstorming. please don't leave!!!!

I found it nearly impossible and way too frustrating in OpAphid to follow along and participate because I couldnt' get into chat. It's already getting confusing with allthe different threads and it seems that if it all goes to chat again, I'll just get frustrated. It's sad, though, because I was tagged by TFW and if the two aren't related, then they are certainly playing off one another. If things all take place here as far as major communicating...that's not bad...but it's still confusing and if something like a drop does happen...I won't be able to be in on the chat. I know the chat is helpful and important on some levels, it's just a personal choice to not be frustrated again like I was when trying to follow along withOppy. Nothing personal, please don't take it that way.
