No I'm saying if it's true that they put 10/12 on the computer to lie to us that this video was made before all the hate came in for the ceremony videos and not because of the hate, THAT is petty.

I have more respect for them listening to fans and accepting that what they were producing was not pleasing us and making changes based on our comments than them trying to pull one over on us and convince us they are so great.

so. if they saw daniel watching the ceramony while it was still light, yet still went on with the ceramony makes me think that they put on an act. pretended to have a ceramony and had bree post about a ceramony so daniel would think it was all over then RELOCATE the real ceramony. so the ceramony hasnt happened yet, which is why bree was able to post about it right away (she wasnt weak) and she sounds and looks like she is lying because...she is. she cant even tell a little lie without it showing.

I think her vid was to say "Hey daniel, look at me, I had the ceramony and survived. you can get a new hobby now"

The other thing I have to add is. when daniel gets into the room the computer screen is up. no screen saver. so she was on it JUST BEFORE she left. which makes me think she was on her way there.

oh, and if I lived in a gated community I would leave my balcony door unlocked. but where the heck is the guard?

I'm still puzzling over the closet shot. Because the camera stopped there significantly (the way it did on the lithograph), I'm assuming there's something, uh, there. At first, I thought, "So she wears a lot of black. So what? I do, too." Then someone speculated about robes. But no matter how active she is in the order, who needs *that* many robes?

actually when i saw that i couldn't make out what the things were, but my first thought was like "wouldn't it be funny if they were all robes" cuz it would remind me of, like in cartoons where the characters always wear the same things and then when you see their closet they have like a whole closetful of that one outfit. and it gave me a giggle, esp. when that suggestion actually came up here. so i thought i'd share

1. Nasty-tasting but very popular series of liquers made by French Monks
2. There's basically 3 "flavors", Green and Yellow, and . . .
3. Elixir de la Grande-Chartreuse, the original that started it all. Here's the interesting part:

"Made by the Chartreuse Monks since 1737 according to the instructions set out in the secret manuscript given to them by Maréchal d'Estrées in 1605. . . The Order of Chartreuse was more than 500 years old when, in 1605, at a Chartreuse monastery in Vauvert, a small suburb of Paris, the monks there received a gift from the marshal of artillery for King Henri IV. Francois Hannibal d' Estrees gave them an already ancient manuscript titled "An Elixir of Long Life". In the opening years of the 17th century, only a few monks and even fewer apothecaries understood the use of herbs and plants in the treatment of illness. . . The manuscript's recipe was so complex that only bits and pieces of it were understood and used at Vauvert. . . By 1737, the manuscript was in the mother house of the order - La Grande Chartreuse - in the mountains not far from Grenoble. Here an exhaustive study of the manuscript was undertaken. . . . The monastery's apothecary, Frère Jerome Maubec, was in charge of the study which finally succeeded in unraveling the complexities of the recipe. . . Chartreuse Elixir was first made!"

Significant? Who knows. But interesting.

Just think its worth mentioning that people seem to be overrating the effects of absinthe. I've seen many people drink it, although I haven't myself, and none of them talked of any hallucinations. This is over several different types also, although none of them were 16 year old non drinkers either.

I understand the link of chartreuse to absinthe, especially with the poster, but chartreuse is an alcohol separate from absinthe.

Mk. This paragraph from the wikipedia article seems to cover the basics of why Adak might possibly be important, unless it's for geographic reasons. So far I'm not really seeing anything, though.

The Aleutian Islands were historically occupied by the Unanga. The once heavily-populated island was eventually abandoned in the early 1800s as the Aleutian Island hunters followed the Russian fur trade eastward, and famine set in on the Andreanof Island group. However, they continued to actively hunt and fish around the island over the years, until World War II broke out. Adak Army installations allowed U.S. forces to mount a successful offensive against the Japanese-held islands of Kiska and Attu. After the war, Adak was developed as a naval air station, playing an important role during the Cold War as a submarine surveillance center. Large earthquakes rocked the island in 1957, 1964 and 1977. At its peak, the station housed 6,000 naval personnel and their families. In 1994, family housing and schools were closed after severe cutbacks. The station officially closed on March 31, 1997, and currently houses civilians. The Aleut Corporation acquired Adak's facilities under a land transfer agreement, pending with the Department of the Interior and the U.S. Navy/Department of Defense. Properties are currently under lease. About 30 families with children relocated to Adak in September 1998, most of them Aleut Corp. shareholders, and a school was reopened. Aleut Corp. is currently developing Adak as a commercial center. The community incorporated as a second-class city in April 2001.

Since World War II, the U.S. Navy developed outstanding facilities and recreation opportunities at Adak. A movie theater, roller skating rink, swimming pools, ski lodge, bowling alleys, skeet range, auto hobby shop, photo lab, racquetball and tennis courts were developed[citation needed]. A new $18-million hospital was built in 1990. As of March 2003, most of these facilities are closed.

Most recent census information for Adak puts the population at 316, according to Wikipedia.
