hmm
interesting. still i wodner if maybe epogen has a different effect when expired, or combined with something.
or maybe they were using it for it's real purpose, blood.
another question.
where is the order/bree's dad's company getting this epogen? and in such mass quantities. it is a prescription drug? could it be that they're more high and mighty that we think? this order could be religeous, or maybe it could be scientific. people experimenting to find miricule cures for some disease to make money? human testing is illegal. i know that's out there. there may be many girls like bree, but if so, why were they working so hard on tracking her down specifically.
and whatever happened to gemma?

The LORD passed by, and a wind broke in pieces the rocks before the LORD; but the LORD was not in the wind; nor the fire nor the earthquake, but in the still small voice.

My brother invented Epogen! (I swear this is true!!!)
It is made by a Amgen in Thousand Oaks. It was originally developed to help kidney dialysis patients who have anemia. It helps increase red blood cell counts. Lately, athletes have been using it (illegally) to help them, esp. in biking, running, etc.

Hey HazelButtercup! Can you do me a favor? Go to this thread and elaborate a little more about the "off label" uses of Epogen? Thanks!HazelButtercup wrote:My brother invented Epogen! (I swear this is true!!!)

Man....Daniel just keeps breaking into things....all this kid does anymore is 1. Research things 2. Break into things 3. Make videos
watch the sun
as it crawls across a final time
and it feels like
like it was a friend
if its watching us
and the world we set on fire
do you wonder
if it feels the same?
ok, i dutifully read all previous posts, and i must say, when we're not killing each other, it is a riot.
1. GREAT video. less like a stage play (not that there's anything wrong with that)
2. Daniel is the man! ACTION!
3. The tie in with bree's dad's work and this drug is still weak.
i was half expecting to see daniel's car parked back there. could jonas fit in arranging to get daniel some clean wheels in between backgammon and high tea?
landmark vid, just think, all those times he was on the bed flipping through magazines, he was thinking, "man, how long before i get to break in somewhere?"

I think that the creators would use the most obvious uses of Epogen for the purposes of the story. Also, considering she was taking iron pills, it seems clear what the order was Bree for. It seems like the whole bloodletting thing is probably part of the ceremony, unless they were going to have her climb a mountain or compete in the Tour de France. Also, since they were preparing her body for the ceremony, she was probably supposed to survive it, which is comforting.

Maybe all those B&E's are what earned him his prison t-shirt that he wore in an earlier vid.gigglingmonk wrote:Man....Daniel just keeps breaking into things....all this kid does anymore is 1. Research things 2. Break into things 3. Make videos
