I'm going to see if there are alternate meanings to a 'pony' other than the animal.
There are, I already looked that up an hour or so ago:
I'm thinking that "ponies" may be more slang than anything else.
WIll this ring any bells? Here are some phrases that apply to "ponies":
Thesaurus.com:
pony express, former mail delivery system
dog and pony show, elaborate presentation meant to impress
advertising campaign, advertising blitz
bet, gamble
compensate, pay back
contribute, donate
subscribe, pay for use

1 (n): A loser, tool, or person of lower standing
2 (v): a) to own or humiliate through defeat b) to spam text through a chat program (especially in IRC) with the word "pony" or similar phrases, implying that an individual or group is a pony
slang for a Ford Mustang, an older muscle car that was quickly replaced and outshined by the Pontiac Firebird.
a sidleing strut, akin to a sashay, but with more knee movement and hip thrusting. Used to express joy
I still think that you got it right, Meg.

From wikipedia:
A pony is a small horse.
Pony may also refer to:
* Pony (film), a short film by Ed Gass-Donnelly
* "Pony" (Ginuwine song), a 1996 single
* "Pony" (Kasey Chambers song), a 2004 single
* The Stone Pony, a famous rock and roll club in New Jersey
* Hyundai Pony, a model of car
* My Little Pony, a popular line of plastic toys
* Pony International, a footwear and apparel brand
* Pony car, a class of car similar to the Ford Mustang.
* Pony (slang) - pony has at least two slang meanings: 25 pounds sterling, and an unlikely outcome.
* Pony keg, a beer keg containing 8 US gallons of fluid.
* Pony shot glass, a 1.0 fl. oz. (~30 ml) shot glass or bartending tool (often combined with a jigger).
* Ponytail, a hair style
* PONY Baseball and Softball, organizing baseball and softball leagues for youngsters.
* Pony play, a form of human animal roleplay, usually sexual in nature
* Punishment pony, a smaller version of the "punishment horse" used in disciplinary spanking or erotic spanking
o Birching pony, a specific variant of the punishment pony
* The ponies, a colloquial term for horse racing
* P.O.N.Y. - Prostitutes of New York Club
* Pony Bottle - A small SCUBA cylinder strapped to a divers main tank for emergency use.
Any of those sound useful? I could only think of the keg, with Daniel's drinking but it's a bit of a stretch.

Wiki slang definitions of 'Pony'
What caught my attention is this:
And this is the longest shot there: The term "Pony" is also used as a slang word by Midshipmen at the United States Merchant Marine Academy. A "Pony" is often described as a slate or reference for an upcoming test or project which midshipmen can study from.
Stupid ponies...

There is also the term 'pony up', like 'come up' with some money. In recent discourse, "pony" has come to represent an elusive and highly unlikely positive outcome

I still think we're looking at this wrong, though...
That message was meant for seminar attendees, NOT Daniel and Jonas.
The "under the blue stone" comment was also NOT meant for Daniel and Jonas, but for those who auditioned for the HoO, so that they were aware to pick up the paper "under the blue stone".
At this point Daniel and Jonas are following us to get answers because we're going to lead them back to Bree.

That's what I thought too. But nobody paid attention to mevoyboy wrote:Could ponies and clowns mean rodeo?
But i'm not sure where to lead it.Aponi wrote:Ok i'm going to say this about 'ponies'.
Kate...and a clown....and ponies brings to my mind Western-themed things. I'm pretty sure there was some outlaw named 'something Kate', but I could be confused.
And i'm a horse nut, I kinda jumped from 'outlaw' to something kinda modern 'outlawish' -> rodeos.
And what's at rodeos that is also in this message?
Rodeo clowns, the people who lure bulls away from the riders.
This is a complete stretch, but it's the only thing I can think of that involves clowns and horses, and (kind of) Kate.
Feel free to shoot this theory down lol.

That's the only thing I've seen up until now that backs up taylors explanation a very little bit. Where did she get the runion thing? Would be great if she mentioned some sources next time.meggamoo1 wrote:Crowley definition of card #19, the Sun.General Meaning: What has traditionally been known as the Sun card is about the self -- who you are and how you cultivate your personality and character. The earth revolves around the sun to make up one year of a person's life, a fact we celebrate on our birthday.
The Sun card could also be titled "Back to Eden." The Sun's radiance is where one's original nature or unconditioned Being can be encountered in health and safety. The limitations of time and space are stripped away; the soul is refreshed and temporarily protected from the chaos outside the garden walls.
Under the light of the Sun, Life reclaims its primordial goodness, truth and beauty. If one person is shown on this card, it is usually signifying a human incarnation of the Divine. When two humans are shown, the image is portraying a resolution of the tension between opposites at all levels. It's as if this card is saying "You can do no wrong -- it's all to the good!"
Still love her though. She's the one being most helpfull on the forums lately. Still a big fan!
