0163- "Communication Terminated" [3/31/07]

My thoughts: In "psychological torture", after Daniel tries to wake up Jonas we here him (still in the bathroom but out of view) making some noise that sounds like him banging something against something. I think he is banging at a vent or something to escape. Then Jonas crawls/falls out of the tub a moves toward the place where Daniel did the banging thing. Later we see Daniel walk towards the camera. In "communication terminated" we see that Daniel turns off the camera. I am pretty sure that the boys escaped and are/were a) hiding in the woods or b) meeting Bree somewhere.

I totally agree with you about the strange cinematic approach of the Faction Video. It blends with the BD and J vids, but the Agent editing it brings to mind a scene like this.

How about this as a theory

Maybe the Order cut this video for us. Maybe they retrieved the footage from the Faction and cut it for us in their artistic manner to send us the message that nobody messes with the Order. Not even a Faction within their own organization.

That would be a good suggestion, but the video is marked "private," so - for now - it's to be assumed that it was a loyal Orderite that got gunned down and that only Orderites are supposed to see this video.

I've been discussing this with someone else, and I'm now going to try to push my suspension of disbelief one step further and stop harping on this. I realize that wailing on these issues in the Order's private videos isn't going to make me enjoy them more. Still have the same opinion, but I'm going to try to stop sharing it so generously on this particular subject for now. Thanks to everyone who tried to make sense of it all, though. The effort is appreciated.

Ok, here's what I saw:
Daniel in the beginning ,possibly just investigating the camera or taking it to film his own things?
A...erm....Order person, chasing after Bree.
Then the end with the Order person getting shot by someone.

And what's this?

Haven't read the last five pages or so but I don't think bree kicked Mr. Cameraman's ass...

Correct me if I'm wrong but it looks like he either knocked her down when he got shot (or whatever else may have happened to him). Or she dove down on her own...

Ok, watched over vid again.

Well whoever was in that car was either who shot the Order person or who Bree was running to, or both! That's my guess.

At the end when the camera blinks again after the shot, you can see what I think looks like Bree running in the distance.
Makes sense to me.

Ok I don't know if this helps any but it looks like the shooter is wearing a BLACK suit. I guess some of you thought that already but I thought that just the pants could be black, eh.

That's what I thought too. I thought that maybe more than one watcher/order member was
following Bree and after one of them got shot at the end the other one
walked over to get the body.

I also agree with the camera being in the glasses or eyes of the
watchers.

see... they cant be in sunglasses, well it could be b/c of the darkness of the camera, which is a very good idea, but

here ill get a s/s of when the dude gets shot.

if they were wearing sunglasses, then he got shot in his eye or really close. and dont u t hink we would see sum blood coming out of his head on the camera lens?

so im pretty sure that they arent wearing sunglasses cameras...

Id also like to bring up the concept that there may be two cameramen. at about 1:26 we see bree hunched over as the camera approaches her. (it is a profile shot of bree from the side) We see the same shot of Bree hunched over at 1:31 from a different angle (more to bree's right and behind). This is the angle the runs up and attacks her.

So I'm confused on how many cameras we're supposed to believe are out there. If one camera was taken out by shiny shoes man, who else is out there and why (if theres more then 1 camera) would the video description be jumbled as if it was intercepted. And where's the backup?

I think this video is a lot easier to figure out then some people are trying to make it.

The bulk of the video is the Order looking for Bree. The guy filming sees anther black Order vehicle so they both pull over and look on foot. He sees a white (possibly yellow) Cadillac with the door open and pauses for a moment noticing that it's empty. That tells him someone else might be around.

Now we cut back and forth between the two guys zeroing in on Bree. One is much closer. Someone shoots the closest guy (we can see the camera crack.) He either dies or is knocked out. The camera kicks in again and Bree is gone. The other Order guy finds the first and uploads the video.

Daniel triggered the alarm. We assume he also escaped because the video tag says, "subjects escaped." Of course, we don't know where Jonas is. Maybe Daniel escaped with Bree. Maybe Jonas escaped with Bree. Maybe all three escaped. We don't know. I assume it was Daniel that got away too after triggering the alarm.

I think it would be the most interesting now if Jonas did NOT escape. We know he's unsure about his parents. Wouldn't it be cool if there was a video where Bree and Daniel tried to get Jonas back but he turns on them because the Order says that if he does they'll give him back his parents? A lot of interesting things could come from this.

As for who shot the Order guy there are a few choices. People are leaning towards Brother or Tachyon. It could even be Jonas or Daniel or characters we've never seen before like Bree or Jonas' real parents.

I have one question though. Does Bree have to do this ceremony this year? I mean, once she has her birthday again will she be useless to the Order because she's too old? Would that make them stop and effectively end the story? I wonder...

Anywho, great video. The last two have been disappointing but it looks like things are about to pick up again. Good job to the creators.
