Are we sure that Bree was even supposed to be in that video? Is it possible that someone else was filming, ostensibly? I can imagine the creators making sure that her voice was in it if it had to be.

When Alex turns to the camera and says "they don't need you Bree" she could have been talking to the camera, not to the person. She was looking straight into the camera.

Just a thought. I'm not sure who on earth could be filming, other than Bree, but I can only imagine that the creators would have taken the time to have proper voiceovers - it's not hard to do. Let's see where this goes, shall we?

In the begining of the video DB asked Bree if she wanted him to hold the camera. They needed Jonas's hands free (for the gun) and Daniel's hands free (to protect Alex). The only other option was to have Bree hold the camera. It helped set up the ending twist.

Jonas's gunplay just reminds me of why the only person who should be allowed to own handguns is me. Typical untrained amateur - get into a bad situation and freak out trying to assert control by waving a deadly weapon around. Idiotic and dangerous to everyone within a mile or so.

Alex isn't evil here - she knew they were coming for her, not Bree, and it seemed she just wanted one more day of real life before they take the Cuisinart to her brain.

I don't think Madison is the "new girl" Alex meant, but it could be that "Mr. Zipp" is the father of the girl they've found, and he wants to save his daughter by bringing Madison to the Order's attention so they might take her instead of his daughter.

Actually we believe that Mr. Zipp is Jonas's Dad. But maybe it's that too.. I don't know.

I can't see why anyone's saying Alex betrayed them here. She didn't set them up. Lucy and her posse didn't even bother BD&J.

The new girl thing was a little random. I don't think that really made sense with how intently they've pursued Bree up to this point. Even if they did have a new girl, though, I can't see why they wouldn't try to kill Bree and her friends now that they're no longer needed. They already know too much.

I don't know if this is going to be that Maddison girl (who I know jack about so far; I'll have to read those summary articles that were linked to earlier), but whatever the case, if she was someone in the same country as Bree and she's willing to do this thing willingy, and "time is running out" for the ceremony (whatever that means), why didn't they just get her sooner and cap Bree?


I know a lot of people thought Jonas was cool here, and, sure, it's good to see that he finally had the good sense to get a gun, but, uh ... it doesn't look like he picked up the good sense on how to handle one. He wouldn't even shut up long enough for Alex to explain anything, and he put the thing in Daniel's face. He could have killed both him and Alex if he had slipped.


I think this definitely proved that Daniel actually cares about Alex and that he's not just trying to use her as a replacement for Bree. He didn't even make a move to protect Bree. Though he did yell at Alex briefly, he still affectionately held his hands on the sides of her face while he tried calmly asking her what was wrong, he got between her and her insane nephew with a gun, and he still tried to have her get in the car with them.

Daniel definitely moved on where Bree is concerned. Let's just hope they still have a chance to get Alex back.

Okay, I just spent 5 minutes looking up this 'Maddison' everyone is suddenly talking about. To be honest, her videos just look like the poor man's imitation of Bree and Daniel when their story first began. Much too dull for my taste (I wasn't instantly drawn to them like I was Bree and Daniel, either)

It seems like this thinking places me in the minority, but I hope Maddison isn't the 'new girl'.

Same here. In fact, if the storyline turns in the direction of Maddison and abandons BD&J, I'll undoubtedly abandon LG15.

Guns are a huge turn-off for me, I don't care who is holding them. Someone pulls a gun and I get literally nauseous. Too many people I know were shot dead with guns. Just this week, my best friend's grandson got murdered. Now his little baby will grow up fatherless.

Okay so TFW said something about today being a special day on her voicemail thing, and she also put a comment on Maddison's myspace today that everything is progressing as expected. .

Unfortunately, the Creators weren't brave enough to go all the way: On one hand, Alex has definite evil moments in there, making this the first "double-turn" in the series, but on the other hand, she clearly says "I don't have a choice" - giving the Creators a nice little hole to bring her back as a good girl later.

Disagree completely. The Creators have the brains, and the subtlety, to realize that in real life, people are rarely completely good or completely evil. They're making Alex into a believable character -- and, in the process, making her far more interesting.

Same for Jonas. He isn't just Happy Shiny Boy. He has depths of anger within him that are barely hinted at in vids like Spanglish.

Even Bree is a more complex character than some forumites would like. She responds inappropriately to her situation and treats DB badly.

The only character who seems good through and through is DB himself. And, as we know, he may have had some hypnotic conditioning that will be triggered at some completely inopportune point in the future.

I thought “I don’t have a choice” was an important line. On Daniel’s spying footage, we hear Alex say “It’s a violation of free will”. It seems she having several confrontations with “free will”.

Poor beastie. I thought it was sweet that he tried so hard to understand and protect Alex, believing in her so much just for her to stab his back. Do you think she has beastie wrapped around her fingers where he would do something for Alex, against Bree? I'd like to think that beastie and Bree are still close but there hasn't been too much interaction with them past couple of videos.

Could Alex showing beastie some affection be a front? hmmm.
