By the by, I really think this roshambo variation is just made up for the video. Can you imagine playing this game Gemma describes, with huge hand motions? I mean, talk about giving it away....you can't be very sneaky throwing "man" or even "nut." Cheating would just be too difficult. FAKE! :wink:

When I was young my parents would take me to their friends houses all the time. If there was another kid in the house that was older, I would avoid them like the plague, unless they approached me. But a dog or cat? I would glue myself to it so that I had a distraction. Animals are very comforting.

Bree=Intimidated by older kids
Bree=Not intimidated by animals

Despite someone saying they played it at camp (unless it was the same camp that Bree went to), I'm thinking "squirrel nut man" is fake.

I've tried googling "squirrel nut man", "play squirrel nut man", "squirrel nut man australia" and "squirrel nut man rock paper scissors" and have found not one mention of any kind of game like that.

A lot of mentions of squirrel nut zippers, whatever the h3ll those are.

And I think the above poster who said that the hand signals for that game are just too huge makes a great point.

Milowent, I'll take your bet. I think Gemma is canon. As others have said, she fits well with the original Anchor Cove casting call, the storyline fits well with canon, etc. The giveaways are (1) the subtle writing about the religion (dead-on echo of Bree's early hints) and (2) the "London" traffic sound layered into her video. I bet it was shot in LA but they're trying to make it seem like London. The evidence on Gemma/Jackie's MySpace that she's frequently in LA kinda clinches it for me. I expect to see much more of her

Oh, and regarding the casting call, why are you guys so certain that Bree is Girl #1 and Gemma is Girl #2?

Regarding people who think this isn't canon, (two mods come to mind) I have some lovely swampland in Florida I'd like to sell you.
