Ooh, I saw a huge owl swoop down from a tree right infront of my car the oother day when I was going to work... it can only be David Bwie or Bob from Twin Peaks. My son's (ok, he's not human, he's a cat) name is Bowie too. That movie sparked my interest in him as a kid.

David Bowie in that movie and Tim Curry in Legend were like all I needed to live during a certain period of time. Best sh*t ever!!

Oh, my Aunt's dog looks kinda like Sir Didymus from The Labrynth!!!!
My brothers and I make fun of our Aunt's dog ALL the time.
He needs a little hat and eye patch, though.

I love that movie too......I've passed the love on to my 11-year-old son. He watches it a lot. He's hooked on A Christmas Story now too.

Holy crap..check out what I just heard. There's a trailer park in the county I live in that's been there forever called Briny Breezes. Here's a wiki link about it:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Briny_Breezes,_Florida
Because of it's location (one side is bordered by the Atlantic, the other by the intercoastal), developers have been after it for a while. On the news it said that it's probably the only piece of "undeveloped" property of it's kind in the whole country. So, as of right now, residents are being offered 1.5 million dollars each for their lots...and that is only the beginning. So cool.
