11 dr = drew? 1? I don't know.
I don't think it's relevant. Probably just a coincidence, but hey, why not post it.

WAs this totally ruled out? It made me think of Bree's "Star Girl" anecdote, which I think linked into her story about how she & Daniel started hanging out. I don't have the software (and it's uber late).
Also was thinking about Tach's past/beginnings - like something about time in suburbia...

In the description for this vid is this:
I guess that's what friends are for, right? After all: We speak each other's unspoken language, fluently.
I know it had another meaning in a prior puzzle, but thought it might be food for thought for all of you in more favorable time zones...

I think it definitely looks like larkspur lane to me. Too many things are similar, and if I look hard i can make out an L at the beginning of the second line.

okay so before you didn't work, nor did just "you"
what about just "before"
that would be before 'you'. it would also imply the beginning of things.. before now.

you really don't see it?
ok lemme explain all the things i see that are the same.
nancy's chin draws a somewhat straight line with the old lady's face. same in both books.
the highlights from the sunset are level with nancy's face.
the white blotch that is the mansion is juuuust above nancy's boobies lol
Well, I see the mansion and the hand and that's good enough to me-- though the white blobs are freaking deceptive, the one on the left should be taller! Anyway, there's something there that looked to me like Nancy's head but isn't:

So anyway, haha, the mansion and the hand have convinced me.

actually that is nancy's head lol
the reason the heights are confusing you is because the book's at an angle

No, the light blob is her face, not her head (like it is on the Larkspur Lane cover). To me, she looked blonde, and like she was facing the spine in the area I circled. Try to look at it from that perspective.
The angle has nothing to do with relative height, trust me.

I know it's her and the old lady now---I was just telling you what it looked like to me initially--- I can see where Nancy's face and the old lady should be, you don't have to show me!!

				Definitely.
Sorry, everyone seems to spell that wrong and it's been bothering me for days.
Anyway, I completely see that now-- I agree, that's Larkspur Lane. I was just trying to illustrate what threw me off.
Any ideas on the fifth one? I can't find any covers that look like that...

The Hidden Staircase looks sort of like it, but not quite right... it's the only one I can find with two lines that are almost identical in length.

I have no idea if this is enough of the books to help, but I figured I'd post for fresher eyes, and for those who do not have access to the books themselves.
Using amazon.com's
Search Inside feature, these are links to the covers and first 7 pages of each of the three books we have confirmed:
The Clue In The Diary http://www.amazon.com/gp/reader/0448095 ... eader-link
The Quest of the Missing Map http://www.amazon.com/gp/reader/0448095 ... eader-link
The Secret of the Forgotten City http://www.amazon.com/gp/reader/0448095 ... eader-link
