It could be an attempt that isn't supposed to kill her - but will if we don't stop it.

but here's a point ya'll might want to look into

i get what the implications of what the 'seal' being broken probably means- but thought I'd throw out there that the book of Revelation has a LOT of references about seals. It's pretty cool stuff

*crawls back into the lurker shadows*
Well this could be WHY these evil dudes THINK this might be the thing to do.

I would find it somewhat amusing if Bree's statement that Cassie got "freaked out" by her religion and "stopped calling" actually meant "was killed in a sacrifice ritual... and stopped calling."

I prefer: She lied, she cried, she tried, she died

Strictly because it references the events so far. Bree was LYING to us, she CRIED over Daniel, and she will TRY the ceremony....and I guess she'll DIE....

Also I'd just like to mention that Crowley's work involved NO KILLING OR VIRGIN SACRIFICES OF ANY SORT and if they portray him like that I'm going to be pissssed... Anyone feel the same way?
It depends, CiW might really be fanfiction after all, so LG15 might go a completely different direction.

But if CiW is canon, and LG15 ties in with a big rescue climax around the 12th, then a whole lot of practising thelemites would be pissed, probably.

im another lurker just crawling out from under her rock for sec. maybe the whole "she died" doesn't actually mean she's going to be killed but that her old self is dead and now a "new" Bree is born? i dunno.. i could be way off but i just figured i'd throw it out there.

If that line is right then it has to be:

DEDIE HE RHES SLIT
She tried she lied (or lied/tried)

DECEDE SHED HI SIR.
She cried she died (or died/cried)

Because all the anagram lines in it are split in half like that. Thats assuming it isn't something else altogether.

i feel that way. it's a huge part of the reason why i've been following this story so closely.

I also feel that it would be innapropriate to end with some sort of human sacrifice. That is not what Thelema is about...but if the story ends with sex magick, that is right up Crowley's alley. And as someone said, "died" is a standard Shakespearean stand-in for orgasm.

Definitely, but wouldn't be the first time Hollywood types have completely misinterpreted religions either purposefully or unintentionally.

But these guys seem more knowledgable about the subject somehow. The hexagrams, the Enochian language, the yoga, etc. etc. etc. Sure, you could find all that out with a 5-minute Wikipedia search, but that's usually more research done than that of an average Hollywood movie.

The correct order of the words in the last verse appears to be (according to Cassies latest picture):

She cried she lied she tried she died.

We should get the mods to update the answer in the first post.
