It could be an attempt that isn't supposed to kill her - but will if we don't stop it.

Well this could be WHY these evil dudes THINK this might be the thing to do.HisGirl wrote:*hangs head in shame* I can't believe I'm crossing over and giving up my lurker status...
but here's a point ya'll might want to look into
i get what the implications of what the 'seal' being broken probably means- but thought I'd throw out there that the book of Revelation has a LOT of references about seals. It's pretty cool stuff

It depends, CiW might really be fanfiction after all, so LG15 might go a completely different direction.maldemer wrote:I wonder who tried, lied, cried, and died? Cassie? Cassie has referred to herself in the third person before...
Also I'd just like to mention that Crowley's work involved NO KILLING OR VIRGIN SACRIFICES OF ANY SORT and if they portray him like that I'm going to be pissssed... Anyone feel the same way?
If that line is right then it has to be:randomtrickpony wrote:I prefer: She lied, she cried, she tried, she died
Strictly because it references the events so far. Bree was LYING to us, she CRIED over Daniel, and she will TRY the ceremony....and I guess she'll DIE....
i feel that way. it's a huge part of the reason why i've been following this story so closely.maldemer wrote:I wonder who tried, lied, cried, and died? Cassie? Cassie has referred to herself in the third person before...

I also feel that it would be innapropriate to end with some sort of human sacrifice. That is not what Thelema is about...but if the story ends with sex magick, that is right up Crowley's alley. And as someone said, "died" is a standard Shakespearean stand-in for orgasm.elDes wrote:i feel that way. it's a huge part of the reason why i've been following this story so closely.maldemer wrote:Also I'd just like to mention that Crowley's work involved NO KILLING OR VIRGIN SACRIFICES OF ANY SORT and if they portray him like that I'm going to be pissssed... But these guys seem more knowledgable about the subject somehow. The hexagrams, the Enochian language, the yoga, etc. etc. etc. Sure, you could find all that out with a 5-minute Wikipedia search, but that's usually more research done than that of an average Hollywood movie.rachelalexis wrote:Sfonzarelli wrote:100%maldemer wrote:Also I'd just like to mention that Crowley's work involved NO KILLING OR VIRGIN SACRIFICES OF ANY SORT and if they portray him like that I'm going to be pissssed... Definitely, but wouldn't be the first time Hollywood types have completely misinterpreted religions either purposefully or unintentionally.
