the worst part is, i bet you anything once we get the solution it'll be of the simplest, most obvious, staring-us-all-right-in-the-face variety.
i am so frustrated.

i can't shake the feeling that we've been going about this wrong.
the lines that we've unscrambled aren't saying much, especially not in response to a question like WHERE.
no references to locations, really. and she hasn't really addressed us, or chided us, or even mentioned frank. all of her usual favorite tactics don't show up in this poem.
i'm thinking about just starting over from scratch. i'll do that on my own, of course, you guys can keep going with this. but we've hit a dead end and it's not going to help to keep banging our fists on the wall.

First post - I've been lurkin' in the shadows for days... (-literally!)
You guys are doing an amazing job! It's quite intimidating!
This one is really difficult!
I've been working with every line of this fr***n' thing and I haven't been able to come up with anything useful...
Maybe except for this, it really looks to me like the last line should be:
"Still holds the cup for you to find" instead of "The cup still holds for you to find" - based on the picture from Cassie...
Then maybe there could be something about a hand (holding the cup) in the 5th line... - the letters are there, but...
(Argh... -it almost 4 in the morning, and I should really be going to sleep...!)

I leave for over an hour and not a whole lot of headway is made. Wow. I thought we almost had it when I left. Well, here's one more brain to lend a hand.

Hey what is going on? I left 3 hours ago and we had half the poem done what happened to that at least. Does anyone have a copy of what is done so far?

I just came back too. I have no idea what part was figured out. But I did read that some were going to start from scratch.

look, i know this is just the kind of posts that we should avoid for efficiency's sake, but...
has anyone started an IRC channel yet? has anyone set up a wiki for solved lines?

OK this is where I am starting - about where we were when I left:
Picture:
http://i104.photobucket.com/albums/m200 ... hannel.jpg
This shows aprox. word size - later pictures are pixilated and creating artifacts that are throwing people off I think.
Here is the poem when I left:
THE GATE INSIDE/YOU WILL DEFEND
SO TYPE THE POEM/ YIELD END FOR END ???
THE PICTURE HAS/NOT YET COMMENCED ???
PROCESS SO TIED?/IS A LION FENCED XXX - This lion stuff is nuts I think
THE GARDEN WHERE THE KILLER WINED
STILL HOLDS THE CUP FOR YOU TO FIND
I say don't try force the break in the line - just break it and try to solve it.
GO

Can someone post everything we have now from the recent Cassie clues? The threads seem sloppy and they're quite confusing.
