thats along the lines of what i thought, Penny. i mean a video title "nut kills man" if we just look at that it almost reads like a headline. i think it may be forshadowing

Regarding the nut thing, I think it's just a pretext to make the name "Nut Kills Man", which is obviously a video. "Nut Kills Man" coming right after Bree's video expressing concern that Daniel is gone. In other words, I hope Daniel fans aren't too disappointed. The only other "man" in this story is Frank, and I don't think he's who it's referring to.

It's fairly obvious, Daniel makes a disappearence, either permanently or temporarily, and this new character is introduced to pick up the video slack.

Heh, yeah, I made a reference to that effect myself, Penny, and I have read all the posts reagarding it.

Nonetheless:

I do think the game is fake, but for the purposes of the videos, it is meant to be a real memory, something to jog Bree's memory about who this girl is and how they know one another. I don't think it infers a covert message to Bree about death, or that Gemma's bf was killed by the "cult." I think that's assuming a bit much at this point...as she didn't even menation a bf, just that she understands Bree's predicament of interacting with "outsiders" because she has shared the experience of trying to do so. Hope that makes sense.

The way she brought up the game was strange...I don't think it is a real memory...and if it is, I still say it's code. I guess time will tell...

Yeah I really don't think Daniel's dead. Or will be killed. In danger, probably. Anywho, I was thinking about the "nut man squirrel" thing and maybe were not looking in the right places. Being bored I looked at Bree old quirky vids and saw that in one of her vids had the tags "nuts" and "man". And coincidently enough there's some weird looking bunny/squirrely creatures on her bookshelf. Wow I found a whole lot of nothing lol.

Okay... So, I've done my best to read through these 18 pages.

What struck me absoloutely immediately was the headline of this video. The 'nut' part stood out more than anything simply because Nut, or Nuit is an Egyptian Godess of the Sky... seen here:

I apologize if someone else has already mentioned this but i haven't had time to read the last few pages and just had a revelation. What if the creators are testing the waters? Think about it, if this is just a fan video it would either have to be one of jessica's friends going to all the trouble of getting the high quality cam, do this whole thing, have whoever is posting on the lonelygirl profile accept the response almost immediately and all for what purpose? so that she and Jessica can have a laugh?

OR the creators got one of Jessica's acting friends to do this part and gauge fan reaction to see if we want more characters or not even if they are not yet ready to pull the trigger on something like that yet.

Look at CIW, until that Manson crime scene photo showed up they weren't distancing themselves from it. I think they wanted to find out if thats where the fan base wanted to series to go.

A comment about the casting call: it also called for actors that looked 14-15 years old. The auditions were done around May 30 I believe, so this was after the "lonelygirl15" youtube channel was set up and the 1st two pre-vblog videos were posted. They ended up going with Bree and Daniel, ages 16 and 18. So it is possible that girl#2 was never cast.
