Tonight is apple-spiced pork tenderloin and butternut squash soup. The squashiness doesn't sound very delectable...but it's supposedly good and it's fall-ish.

Can you tell I'm on a FoodTV craze?

Ah, I watched that last night! I can never finish her 30-minute meals in half an hour. I'm hypothesizing that she has a little extra "help" during the commercial breaks. ;)

That's great that your brother likes FoodNetwork! Maybe he'll be a famous chef!

lol. yes, WE SHALL BAND TOGETHER AGAINST THE CONSPIRACY THAT IS RACHEL RAY! and even my brother would agree with me when i say that the greatest meal he has ever cooked is a peanut butter jelly "sammich" as he calls them.

we have this joke in my family, because both of my brothers (jeff, blayne) suck at cooking, we call them jeff boy r blayne (instead of chef boy r d, or however it's spelt) because whenever they attempt cooking something, they try together so they don't totally screw it up.

That sounds awesome, FP...you're making my mouth water (more than usual! ;))! I love butternut squash soup, especially with a little pat of butter melting on top. Mmmm.

See, the recipe I'm using says you're supposed to put pomegranate seeds on top. I bought one but am debating using it. It's worth a try, I suppose. :)
