I mean, talk about giving it away....you can't be very sneaky throwing "man" or even "nut." Cheating would just be too difficult. FAKE!
Not really. I've played large motion versions of rock paper scissors. Yes, I (and most people I know) are used to the small hand version, but the large full body versions often players are back to back and then spin around on the pre-chosen count (count of three or whatever) with their motions. Or make a rule that you keep your eyes closed until the time.
I still don't think it's too far fetched.

hrph...I still think Gemma is canon.
Don't be discouraged by this move.
All things are considered fanon until proven otherwise. This may very well prove otherwise, but it will require a Creator statement or actual interaction in a Bree video to do that.

Maybe Gemma lived in NZ at the same time Bree did. Maybe their families joined the Notinghamshire community together. Maybe Bree's family moved to the states and Gemma's family stayed in the UK.
Maybe that would explain her mixed accent the same as it does Bree's. I dunno...

I think she's an Australian attempting a British accent. She's not using a NZ accent. I could be wrong and she may be good at hiding it... but... she sounds Australian to me. The differences in the two accents may not be discirnible to those elsewhere but as an Australian, I can tell the difference.
For example, I picked up on Bree's NZ accent video when she said Australians call the rain "the wit"; (the wet)-- it wasn't an Aussie accent.
I personally think it's fake. I dunno but it seems like a cute girl getting in on the phenomenon, hoping to be famous, maybe for attention. If were cute like that I could probably do a similar video making some vague ambigious statements about knowing Bree. "Hi Bree, remember how much fun it was in the commune here in NZ with all the hippies? My dog, he loved humping your leg-- remember!? Oh, good times..."
I would, too, except that I have a face for radio.
The quality wasn't as good as Bree's vids, and quality isn't the deciding factor on whether something is canon; didn't the creators say that initial vids were simply on a webcam? It's the editing that gave away the game.
But I could be wrong, maybe she is one of the other Cassies :p

Regarding people who think this isn't canon, (two mods come to mind) I have some lovely swampland in Florida I'd like to sell you.
I think Gemma is NOT girl #2 because it's been half a YEAR now. Would they really cast someone and do nothing with her until now? And the fact they portray her out of nowhere (as opposed to first mentioned in a Bree video) makes her look like just a fake poser. Furthermore, what are the odds they held a casting call, and just happened to cast two friends for the roles? Sure maybe JR befriended her after they become girls 1 and 2, but I mean girl 2 has NEVER been seen. If this is a canon off-shoot, it's just a different part of the story, certainly not a direct part of it. I mean the girl's in London, how much of an effect on the story can she really have? She's all but eliminated her ability to show up in Bree's room believably.

Just because this girl is in London doesn't mean she can't help. The internet helps us figure stuff out in this story, why couldn't she help Bree figure out where Daniel is via vlogs? Daniel's a big part of the story is he not? I mean if Bree won't respond to our comments maybe she'll listen to "Gemma". Not that your argument isn't valid, it's just that you turn your back on the idea it may bring something to this project in any way.

Thisis probably, according to the frank voices in my head XD wuts happening:
1 The game "Nut kills man" has to be fake, is some sort of code or message for bree (outsiders, moving out form the comune, etc)
2 Bree and the other girls must know about this video, they did the squirrel thing at the tom green party
3 The accent its just something made up or jjus acted not perfectly as another accent
4 I guees Girl # 2 was never used or casted, do the creators planned to use her when the show had gotten a bigger audicence? I dont think so, they would´ve never knew that the show was going to get so much attention
5 If this is fandom, bree know about it from long time ago
6 It is most likely canon, and she could be used to make up for the momentaneous (probably) lack of Daniel
7 Daniel must be hidden somewhere, if i was him, or probably everyone of us, we wouldnt want to get caugh
8 Daniel was caught up already XD

Okay, so I'm a newly registered long-time lurker, and I just had to weigh in on the whole 'accent' debate.
As a Melburnian, I can say that Gemma's accent sounds urban Australian, with British influences, which would obviously be due to her migration. I don't think it sounds NZ (though the CHARACTER could still be from there, whether this is Canon or her own thing, based on the assumption that many people in the US may not be able to tell the difference between the two, no offence!, so who ever is creating it may figure this detail doesn't matter), simply because her vowels sound Australian.
If you've ever heard a New Zealander speak, you'll know about the vowels. 'Fish and chips' becomes 'fush and chups'. Just listen to a Peter Jackson interview.
