What's in the box?

Hey, Gidget.

Concerning the note in P. Monkey, we know that Daniel has had that puppet on his hand since they found the money in it; he used it to try and cheer up Bree. Therefore, any note in there now could be a fake....which could lead back to this being a trap for the boys.

Also, for some reason, the vid "Date with P. Monkey" just keeps popping in my head. Weird. It's kinda nagging at me, and I'm gonna go view the vid a few times...probably silly, and will bring nothing new to the table.

But, what if Bree had placed it (the note) elsewhere, and he just recognized it from seeign when she originally read it?
But, I just thought about "Ransacked" The room was torn apart, wasn't it? Maybe the note was replaced/planted then?

You don't see P.Monkey touched again until "Purple Monkey Returns"
But, I still say Bree would have stashed the note elsewhere, not keep it in P.Monkey where it could get lost. It was anote from her Father, it would have had some sort of sentimental value.

I'm guessing that the information inside must have led them to believe they should act on it immediately, and that is why we haven't heard from them about it.

Definitely those in the video thread who have brought up it not making sense that they do things this way are right. It truly doesn't make sense at all. It's stopped bothering me, though, because it's how this stuff always happens. I would have been surprised if they'd shown the contents of the box right away, and probably assumed it to be a red herring or something insignificant if it had been.

Perhaps I'm wrong. I'm just trying to come up with a plausible explanation for the character's remaining absent in light of the possible importance of the box.

Jonas uploaded the video. It let us know the existence of the box. Daniel was certainly stressing the importance of finding it to Sarah.

I'm going to do something very out-of-character for me and defend the creators on this one.

Even if Bree did get to the box, and it's entirely possible she just never got the chance, she may have still left whatever was there behind. Or she may have put something else in there. After all, she did leave the note behind for the guys to find. It's possible she knew she might be caught, and left whatever was in the box as a "if you're seeing this then it means they have me" message.

As far as not showing what was in the box, well no one besides Bree's dad (and possibly Bree) even knew the box existed. So showing it doesn't reveal anything. But if whatever was in it is related to the Order, HoO, or The Ceremony (likely all 3) then maybe the guys didn't want the entire internet to know that they might have an ace-in-the-hole.

Yeah, I thought about that too, especially because Bree didn't mention it. If I were to guess I'd say its not a fake, but then again anything could happen.

Thats true. I think there probably will end up being something inside the box, I just think theres some plot holes. Just because if it is important then you'd think Bree would act on it when she saw her dad. Depending on whats in it I guess it might not be the case

All of that is definitely a possibility, I'm just pointing out the unlikelihood of it happening in real life. If bree knew about it she knew about it for a long time. I think that if she did see whatever was in it ahead of time and she decided to keep it a secret, then it might explain some of her actions all this time.

There is always the possibility that DJS are still analyzing what is in the box, or doing reseach (Although they usually ask us for help with that).

If Bree has been keeping things from the boys, then there better be a damn good reason for it. They have sacrificed everything for her, and their lives are on the line. Bree pisses me off.

Thankfully, I doubt there is a head in that box.

Probably a long shot, but assuming Bree deciphered the code, she may have not realized the significance. She may have not made the connection to go back to where the camp play was, instead trying to remember things about the script of the play (which she probably had mostly memorized, especially if she did it twice). She could have found out something ELSE that she kept secret. Or whatever she found out she could have put forward in a subtler way that we haven't noticed, or it could have affected how she has acted throughout the whole situation.

Just throwing an idea out there. The forum has the benefit of many people putting all of their ideas together, and that's obviously not something she had if she was trying to figure it out on her own. Because of that, it's entirely possible she overlooked something that we didn't. Especially in the mental state she would have been in upon deciphering it. She could have never found out about the box.

What I'm saying is that it's not impossible she missed something. She's not perfect.

And as for Marcellus Wallace's briefcase... I assumed that it was full of bars of gold.

What I expect to be in the box is a video (in whatever form) of the play, and maybe (I'm hoping) some files that were stolen (or copied) about Bree and/or the ceremony.
