Contact sera etabli lorsque vous serez a destination. Prenez bon soin d'elle. J'espere que vos yeux ne vous causent pas de peine.
Google translates it to:
Contact will be established when you are has destination. Take good care of it. I hope that your eyes do not cause you sorrow.
Yea I agree with your interpretation:
"vous serez a destination" = "you are has destination" should be "you are at destination"
d'elle = of it should be of her
paine = sorrow should be pain
The girl is probably the one he was holding hostage (who doesn't want to talk to him). I think the title, "crossing the bridge" may suggest he's going back to America.
Eyes causing pain is what this cipher did to me.

I think we're over analysing it - it shouldn't be hard.
Welcome on board marla, it's nice to see you here.

Welcome on board marla, it's nice to see you here. There's not much I can say, not knowing much myself, but there is one sure thing about the londonfiles: there'll be never be such a thing as "over analyzing" here! You guys are doing an awesome job at breaking these freaking codes, but I was told there is a lot more in these videos than just plaintext codes and ciphers. Things will come together along the way I'm sure. 'nuff said.
thanks impulse, and my eyes are peeled for the next vid - you're awesome!!

Story wise, I think Stingray is doing a pretty good job there:

please consider helping him to update this, maybe some things still need a little work.

I have been reviewing the videos again this morning and I am concerned for Kris.
How can he trust janitor? He doesn't know this guy. Janitor is with the Ho0!
I trust our man Kris. I just think the situation is dangerous. I will send Kris an email, voicing my concern.
What does everyone else think?

I had an idea on how to approach this differently.
The letters could represent musical notes.
If we knew how to play the notes, maybe we could correlate it to a song. Like the old game show "Name that Tune":
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Name_That_Tune
The order of the letters and numbers could provide timing or such.
I would have my wife look at it when I get home, but we are leaving for the weekend. Maybe some musicly talented people could look at this puzzle from that angle?

Hi Kris,
This is stingray again.
A group of very sharp people were able to find the message in janitor's note. I am not sure you know French, so here is the message they found:
"Contact will be established when you are at the destination. Take good care of her. I hope that your eyes do not cause you pain."
It seems that janitor is providing a lot of assistance (plane tickets and the comments above). I hope that you approach the situation with caution. I know you are very talented, and can get yourself out of about any situation. I just wonder what janitor's intentions are.
Good luck!

PS – chocolates and/or ice cream might cheer up Mary and spur on some conversation
Here is Kris' reply:

french? that's the part i didn't get in the message.
i don't know who the janitor is, but he's providing us with a way out.
i know who ROOT is, and he's providing death.
mary is not doing good. i guess she never saw someone getting killed before.
i let her go. she came back when she realized her house, her office, and basically her whole life have been ransacked.
i'm not sure why yet but obviously she's the one the j. wants to protect.
ps: thanks for the ice cream tip. i'll give it a try.

Ah, I think you found the key to unlocking this code.
Two octaves in the key of "C" (white keys on a piano) would be:
ABCDEFGABCDEFG
EC-6 4-GC
EB-5 3-BD
------ 5-EB
E to C = 6 keys (EFGABC) also known as a musical 6th
E to B = 5 keys (EFGAB) also known as a musical 5th
G to C = 4 keys (GABC) also known as a musical 4th
B to D = 3 keys (BCD) also known as a musical 3rd

Way to go QtheC!
That is cool! I know there are some musical folks around and it shows up in a video!
So... this is more of a novelty then a clue leading us somewhere.
Right??
