What about the blurry micro-image that was part of the red and black picture? Didn't that overlay with "the picture has not yet commenced" (too lazy to go find all the images/sources right now) It looked like it could be a girl looking out at the sunset or something like that... the sort of generic, mass produced art you would find in a hotel room.
I found a painting called "Agony in the Garden" that has a chalice in a similar position, but it isn't an exact match. It is from a bible scene involving an angel offering the cup to Jesus (maybe takes place just after the last supper). A google search revealed that it is actually a popular subject for religious paintings, and I'm trying to sort through the different versions, to see if I can locate a better match. It sems promising. The title sounds like it might fit with the poem.

This is something I noticed about the cup a few days ago.
I don't have a clue if it means anything but I thought I'd mention it just in case it triggers something.

I don't know if someone has said this already--please forgive me if they have!
But couldn't the hand holding the chalice be blue to signify death? It looks like a creepy dead hand to me.
Also, when Jesus was praying right before he was arrested, he asked if it were possible for God to "let this cup pass from me." In other words, if there were any other way so that he didn't have to go through with it--then he said, "not my will, but Yours." That may be WAY off in left field, but it makes me think of Cassie not wanting Bree to have to go through with it, or possible herself.

That sounds what like the painting "Agony in the Garden" was depicting.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but East Fork is the swimming reservoir from the Bree videos, right?
I'm wondering if, according to all the Who, Where, When, etc. puzzles, we'd be more successful going to the Dead Drop on the 12th of October. During Frank's chat appearance yesterday, there was never an indication of when he'd be there. The only timeframe is "eleven days." It also tells us to meet whomever (Frank is the one mentioned in "Who") inside the gate, and I do remember there being a traffice barrier gate at the entrance to East Fork.
I'm assuming that the painting will show up before then or now, but I'm suddenly suspecting that the twelfth is the day of actual contact.
