Shit.
I just figured out the META meaning behind all of this.
If CiW is run by PMs who used to be part of the LG15 creative team, it is them saying that the split amongst them for making the story about Bree's religion and 10-12-06 ceremony was "exorcising" Cassie from the story and Bree's life.
I know it sounds simple and stupid, but believe me, a "creative differences" split is just the sort of thing to get someone in that self-delusional mindset where they want to make a statement through art about some imagined slight they have suffered!
And why haven't more people speculated that CiW is being done by that photographer guy who was part of the team and ran the boards initially before they had an ugly falling out?

Thats what makes me nervous...
I don't like it that we are told: "Thats how it is and thats what you gotta do..."
Or maybe the disgruntled CiW PMs just really want us to mess with the LG15 folk as much as possible in the next 2 days.
Because if LG15 does end at that point, CiW has got nothing.
Maybe the CiW PMs realized that and are going for a Hail Mary play? There is no way they an finish their game in time.
Actually, there's a pretty clear pattern. It seems every week generates 10-12 thousand more views. Which, is well...logical.covedweller wrote:Luv2Luvem wrote:Well this is kind of not a fair analysis since Video 1 has been up for a month and Video 4 a matter of days....when Rev2 has been out for a month, it will may very well have 50,000 views.covedweller wrote: It would be an odd choice.
If you look at the CiW views on YouTube, it's been a steady decline, and Revelations 2 has only 11,510 views compared to 24,132 for Revelations 1 (that introduced Frank).
In fact, here is the breakdown:
Video 1: 51,208
Video 2: 35,350
Video 3: 24,132
Video 4: 11,510

Loki: Fu** you, 'cause time is gonna tell on that one.
Given that logic, ANYTHING is possible!

Thank you for making the frustration of trying to figure stuff out go away for a second. Now to clean up the drink I just spilled while laughing...covedweller wrote:Bartleby: This from the guy who still owes me ten bucks over that bet about which was going to be the bigger movie: "E.T." or "Krush Groove"?

Except that is using a theory of sustained delay in audience interest.
i.e. "it is week 2 and I just discovered week 1's video."
"it is week 3 and I just decided to watch week 2's video."
etc. it's not like the 50,000 people who discovered the first video are each waiting a week after a new video posts to come and watch it.
Plus, the very first video didn't really need to be rewatched. Sure that accounts for some views of new videos.
The first video had just over 30,000 views by the time the second video went up.
The second video had well close to 20,000 in its first 24 hours alone.
I am not saying there is zero interest in the series... but it's just odd that Revelations 2 only has 11,510 views and in the same time one of the OpAphid videos has over 7500. It seems like there would be more interest to push CiW to the numbers it enjoyed at launch.
My original point was that the PMs shouldn't anger the core audience!
also, if each video was adding 10,000 views a week that would suggest the audience was increasing...
like when a sequel outgrosses the original--it means the audience is expanding. that is rare.
my theory was more like the standard sequel return, which is a decreasing percentage of the original audience.

Sorry for the double post, but I don't think the 10000 views a week are new viewers...just repeat views....which is what I meant when I said that when Rev2 has been up for a month it may have as many views as My Story has now. Should have clarified that.covedweller wrote:also, if each video was adding 10,000 views a week that would suggest the audience was increasing...

edit...I didn't double post afterall.
