but its not a clue! if it was someone would have mysteriously made an account and kept pushing us to it and then went and would never have been seen agen

I don't guess I did mention my thoughts regarding Daniel as being sacrificed. When that particular post was written, it was only a few hours since the video had gone up. The last thing I said there was that it would give me something to think about, and well...I'm still thinking about it.Languorous Lass wrote:Gosh, Henry, I admit I didn't see/read your post -- I gave up on that thread because it seemed to have deteriorated into a "Is Gemma canon? Is her accent fake?" thread. But even reading your post now, I honestly can't tell that you're suggesting that Bree will sacrifice Daniel, because you never come right out and say it. If you also think that's a possibility, then cool. Let's talk about it more, especially after I get a chance to check the sources I cited in my posts to see if they're talking about Thelema or the Order.HenrySugar wrote:A great theory, but not a new one: http://www.lonelygirl15.com/forum/viewt ... c&start=60
I guess it seems new because nobody ever reads me, lol...umm yeah...
I suppose, if this is a clue (and it probably is), it would most likely refer to Daniel as he's the only 'visible' male presence in this series.
After some consideration, along with a few theories of my own regarding the state of Bree's mentality, I tend to think that the 'Nut' in question isn't The Order, but our own lonelygirl15.
The introduction of Gemma as canon crushed my theories that this mysterious religion of Bree's as in her own mind (and I suppose I've been wrong before), but Gemma has also challenged a few other thoughts on the subject. The fact that Bree's religion isn't Thelemic (despite the 'in your face' clues all over the place), and the fact that this really is (in their world anyway) a world order that they're dealing with, I'm left to ponder just a bit more.
I wholeheartedly agree that Nut is Nuit and that Man is Daniel...unless of course, Nut means crazy person...but that could mean any one of us
"We're all in this alone."
Hormone Injection
Sorry if this has been brought up before, but re: Languorous Lass's post - the first thing I thought of was that Bree's shot could be fertility treatments, to ensure a pregnancy (rebirth) perhaps. Especially if Daniel was to be sacrificed & served after the act, they'd need to guarantee success.
This is my first post, sorry if I'm repeating.

Now that's an interesting theory. I agree, though, that Gemma's vids knock that possibility out of the box.HenrySugar wrote:After some consideration, along with a few theories of my own regarding the state of Bree's mentality, I tend to think that the 'Nut' in question isn't The Order, but our own lonelygirl15.

Heh. There's always something to ponder in the Breeniverse, isn't there?HenrySugar wrote:Gemma has also challenged a few other thoughts on the subject. I do think that the Order could be a quasi-religious "secret society" connected with, but not officially part of, a religion such as Thelema.
Unless it's Bree's dad? After all, he has been kidnapped . . .HenrySugar wrote:I wholeheartedly agree that Nut is Nuit and that Man is Daniel...
Hee! You aren't kidding (she says, sitting in front of her computer for the third time in 24 hours). I can't keep away from this stuff.HenrySugar wrote:unless of course, Nut means crazy person...but that could mean any one of us
Wow. What a great idea, lookyz. That part never occurred to me. Maybe Daniel is to impregnate Bree and then be sacrificed. (That idea would knock Bree's dad out of the equation for me -- the idea of something that incestuous just sounds too ick.)lookyz wrote:Sorry if this has been brought up before, but re: Languorous Lass's post - the first thing I thought of was that Bree's shot could be fertility treatments, to ensure a pregnancy (rebirth) perhaps. First post? Wow! Welcome, lookyz! I'm honored that you posted in response to this thread.lookyz wrote:This is my first post, sorry if I'm repeating.
People have indeed speculated that the injections could be fertility drugs, but nobody to my knowledge has connected that idea to this theory (I was going to call it "my theory," but HenrySugar thought of it before I did). Very cool.

Re: Hormone Injection
Small problem with the whole impregnantion/fertility thing:lookyz wrote:Sorry if this has been brought up before, but re: Languorous Lass's post - the first thing I thought of was that Bree's shot could be fertility treatments, to ensure a pregnancy (rebirth) perhaps. Women are only fertile for 24 hours. In order to predict accurately what day she would ovulate someone would have to take her waking temperature every morning before she gets out of bed (that one is now shot because she's probably not taking her temp every morning while on the run with Daniel). Blood/urine tests can't really predict that sort of thing accurately enough. It can tell you when it happened, but only in retrospect.
Also, if Bree were under a lot of stress (ie preparing for a major event, or her parents being kidnapped...) it could delay her ovulation. Someitmes the body just says- "I can't do this right now!" and doesn't release the egg until the stress goes away. It's likely that she's a hormonal mess right now and even giving her fertility drugs wouldn't really matter too much.

Gosh (blush). Thanks! And thanks to you, too, CriticalThinking.Magesa wrote:One of the best thought out, most likely on target, and interesting theories on the forums! I stil have not fully read and digested all of the information on this forum, but I will, its worth it. Great job Languorous Lass!
Good points. The creators could be asking us to suspend our disbelief, though (IOW, they could ignore the facts and count on us not knowing enough about human reproduction to recognize the problems).storyteller wrote:Small problem with the whole impregnantion/fertility thing: Women are only fertile for 24 hours. . . . Or else they might be planning to implant an already-created embryo into her uterus.
As I and others have said elsewhere on this board, though, I'm getting frustrated with all these vague clues. It's time for the creators to give us some substance for this story.
I guess they didn't count on a fertility challenged young wife like me to be on thier forums, lol. Been trying for two damn years.Languorous Lass wrote:Gosh (blush). Thanks! Yeah- well, most people don't know enough about human reproduction to recognize much of anything- it's far more complicated than it' smade out to be.Languorous Lass wrote:Good points.
