j/w, this 'order' thing her parents belong to, I assume, made them do the ceremony too? But why, if the parents have done it, would they be SO concerned? Is Bree still a virgin? Anyway, I think Gemma was probably trying to drop clues again for Bree. Paraphrasing Gemma: "People you think are really nice turn out to be beasts. And I don't mean Danielbeasts."

Maybe the ceremony will involve some cult members playing the role of "beasts"/animals of some sort?

Or maybe, she was implying that Bree is the beast. She puts on a sweet, innocent act, but what if deep down she's really evil? That may be why Gemma made the point to say "not Danielbeasts mind you," so we wouldn't automatically think that comment was meant for him. I'm probably way off....but it was just a thought that struck me. It would be a pretty interesting twist to the story, though.
