I do appreciate the mod clarifying. I'm reluctant, however, to start another thread -- I'm not sure what will be considered as "clutter".
Sorry. That wasn't clear to me, and the posts/replies seemed pretty identical to the other thread. There is a thread discussing if Bree (and the others) is lying about her dad being dead here:

Nah, I think we should be able to discuss things without it becoming (or getting labeled as) a "flame war". I certainly hope so, anyway.
However, it isn't the topic of this thread and the discussion either belongs on a different thread or via pm-ing.

I think we are supposed to just go along with it....but I don't think he's really dead.

This reminds me of when the Creators added the "denderah" tag to the Learning to Drive video. They slapped us over the head with it because we weren't getting it. I think they're just flat out telling us he's dead and go with it. Still could be a ploy, though...you never know...

If they didn't know for certain that Bree's dad was dead, they wouldn't jump to such conclusions. So something must be there that we possibly don't/ do know. Something we may be overlooking.
This may be totally irrelavant, but I couldn't help but think, Why are they at a beach in a time like this?

Yeah, I need to be slapped around sometimes.......

"What the hell are they going to do now?" is my question.

the story is not gonna go anywhere if we keep assuming the videos are full of lies.

i was wondering that too...probably just to be by themselves, out of the crowded areas. i wonder if they will even go back to Jonas' house?

it sooo calming to be at the beach.
i ate swimming at the beach, but i love sitting there and looking out into the waves. I think...
"to be out there is the ultimate freedom."

Well, maybe not lies, per se, but... things are not always as they seem... remember?
That's a good point about how the "Denderah" video was kind of a red herring, Broken Kid... this newest one does seem similar.
And the ocean setting for this video makes me wonder if they're trying to show a link to Jonas' parents who were lost at sea ~ especially with that "Accomplice" video (although that may not be canon). But maybe they just thought the ocean would look timeless and kind of mournfully beautiful (?)!

I know Bree's Dad's name! I know! I know!
It's Greg.
Greg Goodfried.
Oh wait, that's the creator/acting playing Bree's dad.
I am wondering how long it will take to find out what Bree and her Dad talked about.

Has anyone thought maybe they just put "Bree's dad" for us, since we don't know is name or his last name. So if it said " in memory of ted smith" we wouldn't know who that was. Though you could assume it's obviously her father. But that would give away their last name. so then maybe it would say" in memory of ted" and that just sounds weird. so I think "bree's dad" was a good choice.
Oh and maybe they know he's dead because after the shot, bree screamed and the camera went off her so she could be looking that direction seeing her father get shot. And we really aren't sure that the figure standing alone was her father.So.....yeah....
I think he's dead.

Right after one of my friends died, I spent a lot of time at the beach...it's not like they were laughing and playing volley ball or something. I think that the beach is a place of reflection for a lot of people, not a super happy fun zone..or not exclusively anyway.

It's a peaceful place to go...all the sounds of nature are amongst you...The beach is a pensive place.
