So speculation that Bree was special from birth and was placed in a different home because of that turn out to be true. Which leaves me wondering how they got her... does The Order only look at children who have been given up or are orphaned? Do they steal babies? Or is she someone else's kid who is also in The Order????

Okay, to get off the "alone" subject . . .

Presumably the coordinates DB found on Lucy's computer are the places where other "chosen" babies are living? I mean the fraction of a per cent, not the thousands.

Bree frustrates me sometimes because she has told us (strangers viewing a videoblog) more than she says she has told Jonas and Daniel. (On a side note: Is this to demonstrate how "anonymous" the Internet can feel by her willingness to share with unseen viewers rather than the badgering boys?)

I guess these responses are typical for young people who have little life experience. As insightful as Bree is about the fact that the guys want her to be okay because they are uncomfortable, I wish she cold be more insightful about their care and concern and realize they are acting the way they are acting because they don't know what else to do.

I guess we'll have to wait and see what will become of her mother and the Order who have probably found Jonas' car in the parking garage and can easily track Bree to this location. I would imagine that this group would be in hot pursuit of Bree as she just shared some pretty sensitive issues with the Internet.

I guess the ARG (Tachyon, Brother, and all) will come into play to move to the next step in the story.

Yea, that sounds about right. Bree said ony a fraction show the signs when they hit teenage years... Lucy was the helper for these few Teens.

I hadn't thought of that. I thought they had to wait until they were older to find out if they were among the fractions of a per cent?

What happens to the 99% of thousand of girls who are "stolen" and don't get chosen to for the ceremony? Do they then have to become beauty pageant contestants? Or do they get scholarships to go to college?

You are assuming that the 99% grew up attractive and bright (like Bree). Maybe the rest were less attractive and not as bright. Perhaps the 99% got tuition breaks at community colleges or jobs at Walmart. (I'm sure the order could pay for their medical insurance).

It's probably really hard on Bree because remember, she didn't any friends, was home-schooled, she just had her parents. And now they're gone (dad dead, mom might as well be).

now begins the search for her "roots" the others raised in the Order

Okay, so she says that when they hit PUBERTY that only some go on to participate in the "ceremony". So what could go wrong at puberty? What would make some of the girls "go bad" at that time?


And, what happens to the leftover girls who turned out to not be able to do it?
