Speaking of sponsors, Degree deodorant is sponsoring webisodes of a 24 spinoff: http://www.degreemen.com/men/cturookie/?siteid=ctvoyboy wrote:I dont like American Idol, but at least these are entertainers. Its not like they are haveing those trashy people from "Survivor" on.
So this is good! I hope that something more can come out of it too. Like financial reassurance for our LG15 Cast n Crew.
(Damn I wish Target would sponsor you!!)
On the one hand when Hollywood puts out a spinoff on the web and gets a corporate sponsor- that adds credibility to the medium. On the other hand, if the lg15s of the world don't step it up, they'll get passed by.
I really didn't see Hollywood jumping in like this. I think lg15 can hang though. They seem to realize they can take up the slack by utilizing the true power of the internet, the people. I think it's important now more then ever to find a way to successfully intergrate fan interaction and ARG elements. This thing with Katharine McPhee is both huge and necessary because it all begins and ends with eyeballs. Getting people watching and keeping them watching are both important but obviously one precedes the other.
