its not from a movie or anything and i can't find anything on the author.

Op screwed up with something, but shes now retracing her steps and hoping to fix it.

I don't think she saying at all we fail...
i think that Plan "A" didn't work because they were too egotistical. Their ego's were in their way

Kelly suggested they were blowing their cover. Maybe one of the places on the map belongs to Jonas.

alright let me explain a bit clearer...

The first step to success is to admit you defeats.
OpAphid is smart. She knows this! She knows she would need to re-examine what she did wrong, but I think she already knows.
It's obvious that she has had to deal with the same situation before. But she's never had to deal with it on this level.

A failure establishes only this,

Bree has an army of people behind her. She has Daniel, Jonas and her fans. OpAphid has never had to deal with anyone else, but the girl for the ceremony. Never an army.
So out of habit, she thought, "Well...we might have to step our game up a bit, but we can do it because we've done it before."

WRONG

Bree is either very special and lucky, or its the fact that she has us behind her. OpAphid has never seen that before. So because it's a new game then before, the same plan couldn't be put into action, because Bree is protected by either us or luck.

So OpAphid realized she messed up. She realizes...hey, we didn't succeed because we were too damn sure of ourselves. Now we know what Bree has, we know their strengths and their weaknesses. We can get them, but we have to be smarter.

I think your refering to the california map correct???

Well, my idea that they were blowing their cover was more so that they were being careless and clumsy. Daniel went out in the public obviously by foot or cab, Jonas went to pick him up, they let a stranger back to the hosue with them, and they left the car that bree stole a the parking garage for the order to search.

But yea i thought about that too, but I think it's more so a triangle of where they have been, so It's a trail of clues and Bree has to be there in the trail of clues because its going on and on again...
